options and calculate from at the boundary where the remaining word text matches

labels. Keep the existing explicit-completion guard and validFor behavior, and
add a browser test covering completion inside call arguments such as
Math.Max(Variable.C resolving to Variable.Customer.

59-59: 🎯 Functional Correctness | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winMake the JavaScript assertion use the assembly-qualified variable type.
The
values.Countlabel comes from thedeclare var values: List1;server global.typedCompletionscallsroot(global.name, global.type)for that global, and that call does not readvariable.typeName. This assertion therefore passes even if JavaScript does not resolve the assembly-qualified workflow variable type. For JavaScript, that resolution producesvariables.values.CountandgetValues().Count`. Assert those labels so the test covers its stated contract.🧪 Proposed assertion fix
- expect(typedCompletions(current, "javascript", server).map(item => item.label)).toContain("values.Count"); + expect(typedCompletions(current, "javascript", server).map(item => item.label)).toEqual(expect.arrayContaining(["variables.values.Count", "getValues().Count", "values.Count"]));🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

include unfinished generated accessor calls from their function name through the
partial argument, so selecting a completed accessor replaces the entire
incomplete call rather than only its trailing token. Preserve exclusion of
enclosing calls such as Math.Max( while extending matching for cases like
getOutputFrom("Lookup", "Res).

@greptileai Please review pushed head 3f05244. Compound/update variable usage, serialized picker references, and emitted generic getter round-trips are fixed with regressions. Validation messages translate when rendered while drafts and server diagnostics are preserved. Both latest threads are verified/resolved; full294unit/lint/types/catalog/boundary checks pass. Inherited sibling-scope attribution is tracked separately in #8978. |
|
@coderabbitai review Please re-review pushed head 3f05244. Compound/update usage and current picker/generic-getter contracts have regressions; validation errors now retranslate on culture changes without clearing drafts or changing server diagnostics. Both latest review threads are verified and resolved. |

@greptileai Please review pushed head 23ee47c. The only new change explicitly removes the single test cursor marker using slices rather than replace, preserving all expression content and avoiding the CodeQL false-positive escaping heuristic. Product code is unchanged from the reviewed operator/typed-reference/live-validation fixes. All review threads are verified and resolved. |

@coderabbitai review Please re-review pushed head 23ee47c. Only the browser test cursor-marker removal changed: it now uses explicit slices, preserving the single marker contract and actual expression pipes. Product code is unchanged, both latest functional findings are fixed/resolved, and all five expression browser cases pass. |

User-authorized self-review for #8859. APPROVE + HIGH @ 23ee47c Reviewed runtime-eligible C#/JavaScript alias gates and variable usage indexing, plus C# highlighting, server-backed completion for supported languages, context and type-catalog refresh, quoted/multiline expressions and performance evidence. A real QueryClient regression proves that a save cancels an initially pending stale catalog request and starts a new fetch without delaying save completion. The final adaptation passes 294 unit, 28 hosting and 49 browser tests, lint/types, module-boundary and localization checks, and builds for net8/net9/net10. The final six findings and subsequent expression-alias/index and cached-culture findings were fixed with regression coverage before this merge. At merge time, current-head CI is green, Greptile is 5/5 on this exact head, and the exhaustive stack thread audit records zero unresolved findings. This is an author self-review under the task owner's explicit standing self-review/self-merge authority, not an independent approval. Use the standard head-matched merge into main without changing protection or using an admin bypass. Final review corrections include compound reads/writes, typed variable/input payloads, escaped generated getter labels, and live client-validation translations with preserved unsaved state. Full unit suite: 294 passing; lint/types, 1,217-message catalogs and 257-file module boundary checks pass. The final test-only correction makes artificial cursor-marker removal explicit for CodeQL without changing product bytes. Full 49 browser scenarios passed before it, and all five expression browser cases passed afterward. No security alert was suppressed. |
C# expressions were plain text, server type declarations were unused, and activity-output suggestions only covered JavaScript. This adds a C# CodeMirror mode and combines current workflow members with cached server declaration metadata for C#, JavaScript and Python. Script/code inputs use the same editor. Suggestions use the runtime's canonical accessors, preserve Liquid support, and leave stored expressions unchanged.
Type requests share API/auth/query context, support cancellation, cache by definition/activity/property, and invalidate after save. Missing/rejected/oversized server data leaves local completion usable. Completion metadata refresh does not delay a successful save. The guide documents the existing JavaScript type endpoint requirement and the scope: one-level metadata completion, without language-server diagnostics.
Validation: 136 unit tests, type-check/lint, packed external consumer, generated API docs, zero known npm vulnerabilities and module boundary guard. All 26 browser cases pass, including C# highlighting, typed members/inputs/outputs in all three languages, one shared request across edits, read-only mode, failure fallback and a save completing while metadata remains pending. An actual Core declaration document also parses successfully. The reproducible benchmark with 3,000 variables, 3,000 inputs and 10,000 activities measured median completion generation of 42.6 ms C#, 41.3 ms JavaScript and 25.1 ms Python here; CI reports timings without a hardware-specific threshold.
Addresses #8854, part of #8859. Stacked on #8949. Full-diagram rendering performance and a C# language-server service are outside this metadata completion check.
