The preview (
mise run preview) builds isb with ra-jit, somise run preview:rebuildafter an edit takes seconds instead of tens of seconds.scripts/preview/build.shpins Rust 1.99.0 (ra-jit's only toolchain), installs ra-jit 0.1.0 (a few minutes, once per VM) and builds withcargo ra-jit build.isb.yamlgives the preview VM 24 GB instead of 16, since ra-jit's daemon holds about 9–10 GB.Measured in the preview VM (8 cores), edit then rebuild:
mainin the isb binaryAn edit made on the host reached the VM's read-only mount and landed in the rebuilt binary. On a 16-core container the same edits took ~0.5s.
CI,
