spec(hslm): train_hslm.t27 header states 1771470 ternary trits for 19 matrices, the true count is 1948617 #10839
The header comment of specs/ml/train_hslm.t27 states the ternary count of the HSLM correctly: 19 ternary matrices hold 1,948,617 trits, the number specs/hf/model_card_hslm.t27 asserts as PARAMS_TERNARY (PR #10836).
Why this matters
The header says "19 matrices, 1771470 trits". 1771470 covers only the 18 block matrices (3 x (4 x 243 x 243 + 2 x 243 x 729)). The 19th, the output head (243 x 729 = 177147), is left out, so the training spec and the published model card disagree by 177147 trits. Nothing in the spec checks its own ternary count, only the total NPARAM = 2130138.
Boundary
May touch: specs/ml/train_hslm.t27 (the header comment, a small function that sums the ternary segments, one test), its seal under .trinity/seals/, and specs/ml/eval_hslm.t27 plus its seal if that file is on master when this lands.
Must not touch: the training step, the checkpoint layout, NPARAM, specs/hf/, any file outside specs/ml/ and .trinity/seals/.
User Scenarios
Given the header of train_hslm.t27, when a reader adds the trits of the 19 ternary matrices, then the total is the number stated, 1948617.
Given the segment table built by the spec, when its ternary segments are summed, then a test asserts 19 matrices and 1948617 trits, equal to 3 x (4 x 243 x 243 + 2 x 243 x 729) + 243 x 729.
Requirements
FR-001: Every statement of the ternary count in train_hslm.t27 MUST read 1948617 (19 matrices), with 1771470 named only as the 18 block matrices.
FR-002: A test in train_hslm.t27 MUST assert, from the spec's own segment table and shape constants, 19 ternary matrices and 1948617 trits.
FR-003: The seal of train_hslm.t27 (and of eval_hslm.t27, if on master) MUST be refreshed on the Railway lab, not on the Mac.
Success Criteria
t27c test-report on train_hslm.t27 shows 0 vacuous tests and the new test passing.
t27c seal --save leaves the seals current; validate, check-linked-issue and parse-ratchet are green on the PR.
Success Criteria
t27c test-report specs/ml/train_hslm.t27 exits 0 with 1 new test passing and 0 vacuous tests
t27c seal --save specs/ml/train_hslm.t27 exits 0 and updates .trinity/seals/train_hslm.json
t27c seal --save specs/ml/eval_hslm.t27 exits 0 and updates .trinity/seals/eval_hslm.json
t27c validate && t27c check-linked-issue && t27c parse-ratchet exits 0 on the PR
