Closes #10877

ae19b93 changed how the lexer lowers \xNN in a string (every backend now writes one byte). Four specs carry such strings, so their generated output moved while the specs did not; coverage and spec-guards have reported gen-drift for these eight seals on master and on every pull request since.

Re-saved with t27c seal <spec> --save, t27c built from master d9378a8 (the compiler is unchanged up to 57aa3bc, which only removes runtime_minimal):

  • compiler/runtime/commands.t27 -> commands, runtime_commands
  • compiler/codegen/verilog/fpga_emission.t27 -> fpga_emission, verilog_fpga_emission
  • compiler/cli/spec.t27 -> spec_commands, cli_spec_commands
  • specs/ar/explainability.t27 -> Explainability, ar_Explainability

t27c seal --verify: all hashes MATCH for all eight. Seal files only; the four specs stay blocked as they were (their tests do not compile).

ae19b93 made every backend lower \xNN in a string to one byte. Four specs carry such strings, so their generated zig, verilog, c and rust moved while the specs did not, and coverage / spec-guards report gen-drift on master and on every pull request. Re-saved with t27c built from master d9378a8 (compiler unchanged since; 57aa3bc only removes runtime_minimal): compiler/runtime/commands.t27, compiler/codegen/verilog/fpga_emission.t27, compiler/cli/spec.t27, specs/ar/explainability.t27, twins included. All eight seals verify MATCH. The four specs stay blocked as before (their tests do not compile).

Seal Status

  • ⚠️ STALE -- sha256(compiler.rs)=88b8cb73ceda != manifest seal=87e5cbd3ad94.
    The committed NMSE numbers were certified against an older compiler.rs.
    Run scripts/reseal-check.sh locally for the two-step reseal command (advisory; not a merge gate).
