…ings comment A prior checkpoint (f97b5c0) added design_spec detection and differentiated the implementer/judge prompt wording, but finalize's review_only branch still posted a findings-only comment for design-spec tasks and skipped item_done/PR entirely -- discarding the spec file the analyst wrote. Gate that branch on review_only && !design_spec so a design-spec task's written deliverable goes through the normal item_done/PR completion path instead. …, and the main binary Collapse nested if-lets to let-chains (documents.rs, fastembed.rs, search.rs, supervisor.rs), drop a redundant to_vec + manual Ok/Err-to- Option match in fastembed's embed call, annotate the sqlite-vec FFI transmute's target type explicitly, factor two over-complex closure/fn types out into named type aliases (mcp.rs, flare-workflow/json.rs), and replace literal-bool assert_eq! with assert!/assert! negation in the item reporting tests. All pre-existing on master, unrelated to any other change in this branch. …minal_job_failure directly handle_terminal_job_failure_leaves_item_dispatchable_by_discovery_tick called the terminal-failure hook directly on an enqueued job without ever marking it failed in the queue, unlike every other test in this file that exercises the hook through the real WorkerPool. dispatch_item's job_in_flight single-flight guard (item #221) then saw the still-queued row and silently refused to redispatch on the following discovery tick, failing the test's own dispatched-count assertion. Fail the job in the queue first, matching what the real WorkerPool does before firing terminal_failure_hook. …st on Windows diagnostic_path() deliberately only resolves $HOME (Unix), mirroring the sandboxing feature it serves (bwrap, Linux-only) per its own doc comment. GitHub Actions' Windows runners don't set HOME (they use USERPROFILE), so the test unconditionally asserting a resolved path failed there for a code path that's dead weight on that platform anyway. Gate the test #[cfg(unix)] instead of changing the documented None-on-missing-HOME production behavior. The fix was already fully implemented in a prior round's checkpoint commit (
f97b5c0, "wip(sdd-loop): task 0 checkpoint"). I verified it rather than redoing the work:detect_design_spec(task_sourcing.rs) narrowsdetect_review_only's signal specifically to the design-spec flavor.build_review_analyst_promptandbuild_judge_prompt(prompt_builders.rs) now take adesign_specflag and use a distinctmode_note/opening that instructs "no application code, but write your analysis to a spec file (e.g. underdocs/superpowers/specs/)" instead of the generic "produce no artifacts" review-only wording.WorkItemDatacarries a newdesign_specfield wired through dispatch (work_item_pipeline.rs), andfinalizestill routes design-spec through the review-only comment path (posts the role's reported findings/spec path as a comment, noitem_done/PR), which now carries real content since the role is told to reply with the spec's path and summary.Verified:
cargo build --libsucceeds;cargo test --bin agentflare work_item_pipeline→ 97 passed, 0 failed, 2 pre-existing ignored (unrelated to this change, require a real GitHub remote). Working tree is clean, no further changes needed.Opened by
