Status

This round was verification/audit-only — the prior checkpoint (commits 34f78f0, c62d73a) had already wired the four long-running flows through with_spinner:

• mise bootstrap (components.rs)
• agent-browser install, which covers both mise install and the Chrome-for-Testing fetch under one spinner span (cli/browser.rs)
• lean-ctx tool install (components.rs)
• self-update download + checksum fetch (update/mod.rs)

I audited the rest of the codebase for other unwired download/install paths (agent_install.rs's npm/pip installs, shim_install's local file copy, dev_install, doctor.rs, the MCP-server browser call site) and found nothing else in scope:

• agent_install.rs (npm/pip agent installs) already streams the child process's own stdout/stderr directly to the terminal — real progress feedback already exists there, not a static println.
• shim_install::install() and dev_install are local filesystem copies/hardlinks, not network installs.
• mcp_server/browser.rs's ensure_agent_browser call has no TTY (MCP tool-call context) — a cliclack spinner doesn't apply there.
• doctor.rs, update/mod.rs's binary-swap and version-check are local/fast, not long-running downloads.

Verified: cargo build (clean, only pre-existing unrelated unsafe-lint warnings), cargo test on browser_install::, components::, update:: (60 tests, all passing), and cargo clippy on the changed files (no warnings). Working tree is clean — nothing further to commit.

No concerns — the task appears complete as of this branch.
