Completed Claude Code JSON replies can be misclassified as idle timeouts when background tools keep the process alive. Preserve a validated terminal result event, allow a one-second cleanup grace, then stop lingering processes while retaining reply text, usage, session identity, and cost.

Detection is opt-in for structured Claude headless launches. Ordinary captured commands, non-Claude agents, partial JSON, nested result text, and stderr do not enable completion. Hard deadlines, cancellation, actual nonzero exits, and the existing result/error/cap classification remain authoritative.

Extracted from draft #920. This PR contains only the shared launcher/capture code and its lifecycle tests; no refinement module, trajectory API, dependency, or CLI changes. The capture loop is moved to its own included file to stay within the existing file-size gate.

Review followups reduce parsing of incomplete output chunks and explicitly control fixture test threads. The fixture deliberately inherits RUST_TEST_THREADS=1 to cover the regression; complete JSON with trailing ASCII whitespace remains accepted.

Validation: independent review found no issues. Linux CI reproduced the single-threaded fixture failure before the fix (run 39217060265). The corrected branch includes current master and passed full Linux/Windows workspace CI, Clippy, formatting, dependency checks, security audit and CodeQL.
