Do not force an invalid batch when the variable limit is below per_id.
SQLite accepts a runtime variable limit of 1 or 0. With a limit of 1, id_batches(conn, item_ids, 2) still returns one-ID batches because .max(1) forces a minimum size.
confirmed_duplicate_ids then prepares SQL with two ? parameters for that batch. SQLite can reject conn.prepare(&sql) with a variable-limit error before query_map runs.
Change the helper contract to report limit < per_id, and handle that result in confirmed_duplicate_ids. A caller-side query rewrite is required if duplicate detection must still succeed with a limit below 2; changing only the helper’s chunk size cannot produce a valid batch.

…re, and fix it on this branch.PR 935 fails on clippy and hakari. I'll pull both job logs and fix the clippy errors first.Clippy wants `id_batches` above the test module, and hakari is missing the `rusqlite` limits feature. I'll fix both.Clippy and hakari are green on the new run. The watch died on output size while the Windows and Ubuntu builds were still pending, so I’ll poll those quietly until they finish.Pushed `659c3d0d` to PR 935. Clippy and hakari are fixed, and every required check is green. Clippy failed on `clippy::items_after_test_module` in `crates/agentflare-backend/src/db.rs`: `id_batches` sat after `mod tests`. It is now above that module. Hakari was also red because the workspace hack lacked `rusqlite` with the `limits` feature; `cargo hakari generate` added that line and the matching `Cargo.lock` entry. Local checks: - `cargo clippy --locked --workspace --all-targets --all-features -- -D warnings -A unsafe_code -A clippy::pedantic` exited 0. - `cargo hakari generate --diff` exited 0. `gh pr checks 935` (run `39407739713`): clippy pass, hakari pass, fmt pass, both builds pass, CI Green pass. `cla` and `warn` are skipped. No remaining failures. The check watcher was killed after two minutes by the shell output limit, before the Windows build finished. A later check of PR 935 showed every required job green, including clippy, hakari, and CI Green. Agentflare-Branch: task/375-item-list-batch-the-id-based-signal-quer Agentflare-Item: 375
