Write Start here and Part 1: Getting in #48

Description

@swarna1101

Covers journey pages 0.1 to 0.3 and 1 to 4, written for an operator rather than a protocol researcher.

Start here

  • 0.1 What Optimum does for validators. Signal gets you blocks and attestations sooner. Accelerate uses that headroom to hold your bid cutoff later. The two are independent.
  • 0.2 Choose your path. Signal, Accelerate, or both, and what each involves.
  • 0.3 Before you begin. You need:
    • a consensus client you control;
    • inbound TCP 33212 and 33213, and outbound 443;
    • persistent storage for the gateway identity;
    • your validator indices;
    • for Accelerate, your current MEV-Boost config.

Part 1. Getting in

  • 1 Creating your account. Sign in with Google or Microsoft SSO. No invite is needed.
  • 2 Individual or Entity. Use Console's wording ("How do you take part?"), not "solo staker".
  • 3 Registering your organisation. The registration fields and the terms step.
  • 4 Region availability. Write this only if the geo-block ships. See the open questions (Open questions blocking journey content #55).

Done when

Every page matches the shipped Console signup flow (components/signup/SignupFlow.tsx) step for step, with current screenshots.
