Conversation
Publish the root Claude plugin instead of its bundled skill listings, including the obsolete questionnaire and wizard references. Preserve the other catalog records and move the approved project icon to the parent plugin. Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>

🟡 Changes recommended
The generated ai-catalog.json includes unrelated MCP registry version, timestamp, and star-count changes, making the PR noisy and non-reproducible instead of matching the stated exact baseline.

What changed in this PR
This pull request consolidates Matt Pocock’s bundled skills into a single Claude-layout plugin catalog entry, removes superseded standalone entries, preserves the approved icon metadata, and adds regression coverage.
Changes:
- Adds the
mattpocock-skillsplugin entry targeting.claude-plugin/plugin.json. - Removes four standalone bundled or obsolete skill entries.
- Moves the reviewed icon declaration to the parent plugin identifier.
- Adds five regression tests.
- The generated
ai-catalog.jsonalso includes unrelated MCP registry refreshes; these should be removed or regenerated from the intended cached snapshot.

Summary
List Matt Pocock Skills as the whole Claude-layout plugin rather than exposing its bundled skills as standalone catalog resources.
application/vnd.anthropic.claude-plugin+json, a distinct identifier, and the full.claude-plugin/plugin.jsonURL plus matching source metadata.grill-meandgrilling, which the plugin explicitly declares.skills/in-progress/references forto-questionnaireandwizard; their current locations are also declared by the plugin.Evidence and scope
Verified against the upstream manifest at 59db609e: plugin
mattpocock-skills, version1.3.1, declares 27 skills. The catalog reference followsmain, consistent with the existing source-reference workflow; no fixed version is introduced. This follows #93 and preserves the approved logo from #94. No service, schema, ingestion-allowlist, or artwork changes are included. The existing ARD compatibility envelope is unchanged; ARD v0.91 (Proposal) was consulted.
Validation
Run in an isolated virtual environment with the repository's pinned requirements:
python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -p test_mattpocock_plugin_refs.py -v— 5 passed.python3 -m unittest discover -s tests— 51 passed.python3 scripts/generate_ai_catalog.pyandpython3 scripts/generate_ai_catalog.py --check— passed, 1,705 entries at the authored commit.git diff --check— passed.97b1ffc: four generated entries removed, one plugin added, all 1,704 other generated entries unchanged; all 19 retained source records are byte-identical, and icon provenance is unchanged.Generated-catalog automation
The normal Catalog workflow subsequently added bot commit
28dc38f, refreshing imported MCP Registry timestamps, star counts, and three server-version references. Verified that all of that commit's changes are registry imports: it does not alter contributor-managed resources, the new plugin, the retired skills, or the icon mapping. The authored change remains independently reviewable in97b1ffc.Catalog CI passed on the updated head, including the full test suite and catalog generation.
Publication
After merge, ingestion, enrichment, and reconciliation must complete before the plugin appears in production and the retired skill listings are withdrawn. Verify publication under the plugin media type rather than treating ingestion alone as completion. No production jobs were triggered or production configuration changed as part of this PR.
