Adds godust to Rust libraries → Project workflow.
godust is an opinionated CLI tool for generating gdext templates (
cargo install godust). Templates so far, with more to come:minimal(the book's hello-world setup, automated),default(splash screen and a Rust scene manager that loads, switches and optionally retains levels), andtps(a playable third-person starting point: animated mannequin, orbit camera, camera-relative movement, two levels joined by portals). The "opinionated" part is the code structure: every feature is split between a thin glue module that talks to the Godot API and a pure Rust module holding the gameplay logic, unit-tested with
cargo test. Generated projects document the split, so it is always clear which code crosses the FFI boundary and which is plain game logic — easier to test, easier to reason about as the project grows.godotcrate 0.5; MIT.gitea/last-commitbadge.
