Update config instead of overwrite

Currently the installer overwrites the config file. This is annoying if you have to update this after every update. We need a shell script that takes the values out of the old config file and puts them into the new file

I believe this is a complex issue where you can shoot yourself in the foot easily.

Complexity arises when the new file has values that are not in the old one or if the old one has values that have been renamed etc.

I would argue for making it similar to how ubuntu handles migration:

• Offer to copy or leave as it is
• Show Diff to understand which option to choose

But not implementing a migration option. I forsee horrors :)

Why i Brought this issue up initially was that I was not even aware of the overwrite of a file and if in which location. Having this info is already a tremendous help
