coap2seis

New "Receive the data with coap2seis" section on Send Data to Your Own Server, from the public grillo/coap2seis README:

  • Listens on UDP 5684 and writes to an Earthworm ring (PyEW) or daily miniSEED files (for ObsPy, SeisComP, archiving)
  • Station, channel and network codes come from the sensors; network and location can be set
  • Install and run commands, systemd service, link to the README

coap2seis only accepts the JSON data format (/data/.../json), while Grillo One firmware sends binary by default, so the page says Grillo switches the sensors to JSON when it points them at the customer's server. Please confirm that is how you handle it.

The README says SeedLink output is a possible future backend, so the docs do not promise SeedLink.

Also linked from View and Download Waveforms, What Is Grillo, and the FAQ.

SISTEM screenshots

  • Event Details: an event's details panel from Veye.
  • No waveform screenshot: the waveform archive returned no_coverage for both an older event and a recent Veye window, so there was nothing to show yet.

npm run build passes.

Describe Grillo's open-source coap2seis receiver on the data-server
page (Earthworm ring or miniSEED output, install, codes, and the JSON
format switch Grillo makes), and link it from the waveforms page, What
Is Grillo, and the FAQ. Add an event details screenshot from Veye.
