  hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1159 · Filter by author mobicobe-bit opened on Oct 24, 2026

• docs/MCP.md overstates keyless RETURN_BYTES: five EVM transaction tools require an ECDSA operator

• HederaMCPToolkit passes parameters.shape, discarding object-level Zod policy (strict, catchall)

• getTopicMessages fetches up to 100 pages (10,000 messages) to honour limit: 1

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1140 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• Core lifecycle: MCP cancellation is ignored (extra.signal unused) and a throwing post-execution hook discards a completed transaction's ID

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1139 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• Version and metadata drift: serverInfo.version 0.1.0 vs package 1.1.0; SDK pinned 1.29.0 in example vs 1.30.0 in package; example homepage points at retired repo

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1138 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• No tests for packages/mcp; examples outside the workspace; coverage gates disabled; direct core typecheck fails (TS6059)

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1137 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• All tools enabled by default, policies never wired in examples, --tools=all exposes zero tools, whitespace-padded names silently dropped

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1136 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• Reference HTTP server: no auth, unbounded session map, account header treated as identity, session IDs logged, binds all interfaces, inherited-key session IDs -> 500, request id 0 lost

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1135 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• stdio example: operator key parsed before presence check (crash on missing key), ECDSA hard-coded, stdout guard runs after static imports, --tools= crashes parser

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1134 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• Unbounded decimals (caller-supplied and contract-supplied) expands a tiny request into a megabyte string before any network call

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1133 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• MCP adapter returns core tool failures as successful results (isError never set)

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1132 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• Invalid --agent-mode string silently selects autonomous signing; HTTP example with no mode has no operator and fails every write

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1131 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• Hosted MCP runs patched reference-example code that is not published; self-hosters get the unpatched version

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1130 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• Hosted MCP: /authorize validation failures redirect a raw Zod issue dump to the client

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1129 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• tools/list is 186 KB: scheduling boilerplate on every tool, unrendered ${AccountResolver...} template in 18 schemas, contradictory stacked descriptions

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1128 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• No MCP tool annotations on any tool (47 on hosted, all in core): writes and reads are indistinguishable to the host

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1127 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• Hosted MCP: ratelimit-* headers advertise 120/min on /mcp but no limit is enforced

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1126 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• Scheduling is offered on every write tool; server builds ScheduleCreate the network rejects, wallet cannot decode it, user pays the fee

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1125 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• Hosted MCP: insufficient payer balance is reported as expired with error [object Object], and the hint tells the agent to retry forever

hashgraph/hedera-agent-kit-js#1124 · Filter by author WebxSupport opened on Oct 16, 2026

• Hosted MCP: every dead-credential state returns HTTP 500; needs_reauth never surfaces; revoking one token kills the whole grant
