Nynaeve

Design better, build faster, deliver results. Nynaeve is a modern WordPress theme built on Sage 11 with reusable custom blocks using WordPress native tools and the Roots.io stack.

Lineage: Nynaeve is part of Imagewize's block theme family, alongside Elayne, the minimal starter theme Aviendha, and Ixian (built on Aviendha). Nynaeve is the hybrid of the family: a Sage 11 + Acorn theme at its base, with its own 29 custom Gutenberg blocks registered directly rather than composed from the shared Aludra block library the way Aviendha, Ixian, and (optionally) Elayne do. Several of Aludra's blocks were in fact ported from Nynaeve's own block library and generalized for theme neutrality.

Service CTAs

• CTA - One ready-to-drop-in call-to-action block with heading, description, bullet list, and dual action buttons on a tertiary background with a green left border. Eight inserter variations cover the services — WordPress Development, WooCommerce, WooCommerce (DE), SEO Service, Performance Partnership, Trellis Hosting, Sage Agency Development and FSE Block Theme — and a sidebar control switches a placed block between them. Its structure is locked (templateLock: "contentOnly") so the copy stays editable while the layout cannot drift.

  Replaces the seven per-service imagewize/cta-* blocks, removed in 4.0.0. Posts still carrying the old blocks need their markup migrated — see the Upgrade Notice in readme.txt.

Installation

Nynaeve is a Bedrock theme, published on Packagist. Install it in a Bedrock site with Composer:

composer require imagewize/nynaeve

This places the theme in web/app/themes/nynaeve. Then run npm install && npm run build inside the theme directory to compile assets, and activate it from Appearance → Themes.

Quick Start

For theme development (cloning the repo directly rather than installing via Composer):

# Navigate to theme directory
cd site/web/app/themes/nynaeve

# Install dependencies
composer install && npm install

# Start development server with HMR
npm run dev

# Build for production
npm run build
