Rc tags use the same goreleaser config. An rc tag stays a prerelease, and its notes still say it is for testing.

Rc tags use the same goreleaser config as a final release. Archive names stay
inf_*, the binary staysinf, and checksums staychecksums.txt. An rc tag is still a prerelease, and its notes still say it is for testing.This does not replace the v3.4.2-rc.1 assets.
