Can the repository have support for adding it through the git URL to the Unity's package manager? https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/upm-ui-giturl.html
Having so, will make it much easier to install/update and keep it organised in the project as it won't be in the Assets folder. It would also prove useful to track the version.
