I build useful software tools for everyday people. Most of what I share here is Linux-focused and designed to solve plain, annoying problems without forcing people to live in the terminal.
This page is a curated starting point, not a dump of every repo.
- ground-truth-md — the starter
ground-truth.mdprovides scaffolding and structure for any project using AI. Drop the ground-truth.md file into any new project folder, then open a terminal window in that folder, start up your AI, and tell it to read that file. It will do the rest. - Ascended Barron: GroundTruth OS — my flagship project: a Linux-based environment for organized AI-assisted work.
- Computer Storage Cleaner for Linux — helps everyday Linux users review cleanup options when a computer feels cluttered or low on space.
- Bulk Serial File Renamer for Linux — renames a folder of files into clean numbered order.
- Network Health Checker for Linux — runs simple network checks and explains common problems in plain English.
- Ascended Barron: GroundTruth OS — creates a more structured way to start tasks, keep project folders organized, and work with AI tools.
- ground-truth-md — a starter
ground-truth.mdtemplate that gives an AI assistant a written contract before it starts work on a project. - Bulk Serial File Renamer for Linux — good for documents, screenshots, exports, mixed folders, and anything that needs clean numbered filenames.
- Bulk Product Photo Renamer for Linux — helps sellers and small shops rename product photos into cleaner filenames.
- Bulk Product Photo Renamer for Mac Silicon — the same product-photo renaming idea, but for Mac users.
- Network Health Checker for Linux — a beginner-friendly first stop for checking whether the problem is local, router-related, or internet-related.
- Network Diagnostics Report Tool for Linux — collects read-only network evidence and exports reports you can save or share.
- Network IT Troubleshooter for Linux — helps interpret network problems and turns the results into clearer next steps.
- Computer Storage Cleaner for Linux — a simpler way to review common cleanup targets without digging through terminal commands.
- Gmail Email Report / Notifier for Linux — builds a read-only inbox report and desktop notifications for Linux users who already use Himalaya.
- Hook Architect Pro — turns scripts, notes, or YouTube transcripts into stronger opening hook ideas.
I like building tools that make confusing or repetitive work easier for regular people. I also care a lot about plain-English UX, honest expectations, and software that feels approachable instead of intimidating.
I also do personal research in photonics, physics, and optical computing. That work matters to me, but this GitHub front page is mainly focused on the software projects that are most likely to help other people.
