Can't download maps/models etc (404 file not found)

Usually I'd put this down to a server problem, but it seems to happen regardless of host. Downloads are enabled in multiplayer settings

• Running OS X El Cap 10.11.4
• Fresh install (no maps added)
• Turned OS X firewall OFF

Server has no http repository set. You might wanna disable cl_http_download/s to use UDP downloading.
