ARM support: EGL/Wayland for Linux does not have glx

Hi, I really appreciate this library, It really works very well, but, Is It posible to mame this library compatible with other variants of OpenGL like OpenGL ES? Because It doesn't work with that variant

If you can port the code over then I will be happy to look at a pull request. Until now I don't have a computer which needs this. Which platform are you looking at?

I'm using a Raspberry Pi 5 with OpenGL ES 3.1, but unfortunately pyopengltk doesn't work witn ARM, i'm assuming that the problem comes with the call of GLX that it's not compatible with OpenGL ES

Is there no Glx at all? Usually we get away with doing:

$ PYOPENGL_PLATFORM=glx python3 main.py

Yes, there's no glx in OpenGL ES.
I tried to execute an example and I get this:

Hi @jonwright, I tested this line:
$ PYOPENGL_PLATFORM=glx python3 main.py
and I discover that my Raspberry pi 5 with Raspberry pi OS was on Wayland so I switched to X11 with raspi-config and now the library works fine.

Because my program needs a custom shader to work, I change the .vert and .frag from 310 es to 300 es to work. I really appreciate your help, thanks.

Glad to hear it is working. We can do better for the Wayland/egl experience but I don't expect to have much time to work on it soon. Pull requests are welcome.
