Conversation profiles and settings contracts app/crm/connectivity/channels.py, app/crm/connectivity/schemas/connector.py, app/crm/connectivity/schemas/message.py, app/crm/connectivity/topics.py, app/crm/connectivity/contracts.py |
Adds channel conversation profiles, WhatsApp limits, conversation settings schemas, and session message body models. The connectivity contract exports the new conversation APIs and event consumer. |
Binding settings updates app/crm/connectivity/db/queries/binding.py, app/crm/connectivity/db/accessors/binding.py, app/crm/connectivity/settings.py, app/crm/connectivity/letters.py, app/database/migrations/084_add_message_receipts_and_buddy_binding.sql, tests/crm/test_conversation_settings.py, tests/crm/fixtures/whatsapp/binding_buddy_moved.json |
Adds binding settings reads and atomic updates, primary-binding checks, and Buddy configuration transfer. Successful moves file a binding-move event. Tests cover update rules, routes, query behavior, and event fields. |
Settings API routes app/crm/connectivity/api.py |
Adds merchant binding settings reads and UUID-validated updates. The update route checks merchant scope and role, and translates settings errors to HTTP responses. |
Queued-message event flow app/crm/connectivity/queue.py, app/crm/connectivity/letters.py, app/crm/record/extractors/whatsapp/*, app/crm/outreach/entry.py, app/crm/outreach/plans.py, tests/crm/test_queue_message.py, tests/crm/test_workflow_entry.py, tests/crm/test_workflow_plans.py, tests/crm/fixtures/whatsapp/message_queued*.json |
Queues messages with human as an accepted source kind and rejects template proposals with the service purpose root. Inserts on conversation-capable channels file queued-message events. Outreach ignores those events and rejects them as workflow topics. |
Provider receipt processing
| Layer / File(s) | Summary |
|---|---|
Receipt data and persistence app/crm/connectivity/schemas/message.py, app/crm/connectivity/db/queries/message.py, app/crm/connectivity/db/queries/receipt.py, app/crm/connectivity/db/accessors/message.py, app/crm/connectivity/db/accessors/receipt.py, app/database/migrations/084_add_message_receipts_and_buddy_binding.sql |
Adds receipt data structures and pending-receipt storage. Message updates advance eligible statuses, preserve first-seen timestamps, and record supplied pricing categories. |
Receipt consumption and reconciliation app/crm/connectivity/receipts.py, app/crm/connectivity/dispatch.py, app/crm/record/extractors/whatsapp/status.py, app/crm/worker_main.py, tests/crm/conftest.py, tests/crm/test_receipts.py, tests/crm/fixtures/whatsapp/message_status_failed.json |
Registers a status-event consumer that applies matching receipts and parks recent unmatched receipts. Dispatch drains parked receipts after successful outcomes and sweeps parked rows during message claiming. |
Receipt processing validation tests/crm/test_receipts.py |
Tests receipt parsing, status transitions, parking, draining, expiry, query constraints, catalog fields, and worker registration. |
Inbox database schema
| Layer / File(s) | Summary |
|---|---|
Conversation, message, and handoff tables app/database/migrations/085_create_inbox_schema.sql |
Creates tenant-scoped conversation, conversation-message, and handoff tables with constraints, indexes, foreign keys, and timestamp triggers. |
Chat-session constraints and schema ownership app/database/migrations/085_create_inbox_schema.sql, app/database/migrations/086_validate_chat_session_ended_reason_check.sql, docs/crm/migrations.md, scripts/check_crm_boundaries.py |
Adds the chat-session channel and ended-reason values, validates the ended-reason constraint, and updates migration guidance and CRM table ownership mappings. |

A rabbit checks the message queue,
Then stamps each note with fields in view.
Receipts wait safely, status climbs,
Bindings move with careful times.
New threads rest beneath the moon,
The rabbit hops and hums a tune.

343-357: 🩺 Stability & Availability | 🔵 TrivialConfirm the chat_session lock and ordering assumptions.
The DROP and ADD statements take ACCESS EXCLUSIVE on
chat_session. Because the constraint is added NOT VALID, they do not scan the table. They can still wait behind long-running widget-chat transactions, and while they wait they block every later reader and writer. Consider settinglock_timeoutfor this migration.
ChatEndedReasoninapp/schemas/breeze_buddy/chat.py:32-37still has onlyuser_endedandidle_timeout. The comment says the enum gains the new members later, together with the code that writes them. That order is safe, because the CHECK is wider than the enum.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

- Line 128: Update the queue_message flow around file_queued_letter so a failed
message.queued event write can be recovered even when a retry hits the message
deduplication conflict. Add a durable retry or reconciliation path keyed by the
stored message ID, ensuring the missing timeline entry is eventually filed
without duplicating existing entries.

Every template send files a message.queued letter (the inbox timeline's
record of what we sent); workflows ignore our own sends. Channels declare
their conversation limits, the reply body shapes (text, buttons, list,
image) land, and the queue knows the 'human' source and 'service' purpose.
Migration 086 adds the inbox schema: crm_conversation_session (with the handoff columns), crm_conversation_message, chat_session.channel and the widened ended-reason check.
