Darkos and Darkos RE shrunk to fit on 8gb and 16 gb sd cards
dArkOS RE Image Shrink — 8.8GB 6GB
Shrunk the stock dArkOS RE image (Debian Trixie-based CFW for the R36S and clones) down from 8.8GB to 6GB, so it actually fits comfortably on both 8GB and 16GB microSD cards instead of needing a 32GB minimum just to hold the base image before you've put a single ROM on it.
Why?
Stock dArkOS RE images ship way bigger than they need to be for what's actually used on disk. If you're running dual-SD setups (OS card + games card) or just don't want to burn a 32GB+ card on an OS image with a ton of empty space baked in, there's no reason to carry that overhead around. This shrinks the image itself — not a "delete some files and hope" job, actual filesystem + partition surgery.
Just flash it to an SD like you would with any other cfw and it will work out the box 8gb sd cards leave about 1gb extra space, 16 gb untested.
How was it done? No idesa, I did this so long ago I forgot lol.
