Symptom
The get_deck tool description ends with "For deck evaluation/analysis, use view_deck instead." There is no view_deck tool — the test suite even asserts it's gone (packages/mcp-server/src/tools/index.test.ts:69 and :743). A model reading this goes looking for a tool that doesn't exist.
Location
packages/mcp-server/src/tools/schemas.ts:33- Same stale sentence in
specs/02-mcp-server.md:28 (the spec's own refactor-history section at line 266 records the split into deck_list / deck_curve / deck_notes / deck_pull_list).
Fix
Replace with "use deck_list instead" in both places. While there, grep the whole tool-description surface (schemas.ts, specs/02-mcp-server.md, skills/*/SKILL.md, docs/usage-mcp.md) for other pre-split names.
