Gap
manage_card still advertises name, set_code, collector_number, and the single-card sense of quantity, all marked "(deprecated, use cards instead)" in packages/mcp-server/src/tools/schemas.ts:91-95. The handler keeps the path alive in resolveCards and the useCardsArray branch (packages/mcp-server/src/tools/card-tools.ts:29, :74-83).
Every deprecated parameter is description budget the model reads on every call, and an invitation to take the old path.
Proposal
Either remove them (schema, ManageCardArgs, resolveCards, the else branch in add, and the spec section at specs/02-mcp-server.md:62), or keep them for compatibility but drop them from inputSchema.properties so they stop appearing in the tool description. The tests in index.test.ts that exercise the single-card path would go with them.
