GoPro Max 360 images not displaying in spherical/equirectangular #152

Description

@bhugh

I've been uploading equirectangular images from a GoPro Max, but they are displaying as regular flat images rather than equirectangular.

I thought perhaps this was because the XMP "ProjectionType:equirectangular" tag was missing. So I just uploaded two more sequences, they have this XMP tag (and a few others like "UsePanoramaViewer:True" and yet they still display as flat images rather than spherical.

Here is a snip of what the XMP fields of the 917 sequence look per, per exiftool: https://imgur.com/a/K8z9FCL

I would like them to display as a true spherical/equirectangular 360 photo, as this sequence does: https://kartaview.org/details/3936361/2/track-info

Here is what the XMP fields look like in the uploaded .jpg:

Here is a sample image that was uploaded:

I took a look at the source code, and it looks like it parses the XMP tags and looks for tag ProjectionType to be set to "equirectangular" in order to set the Projection to "Sphere". So I can't figure out why these images are not recognized as spherical, as they seem to have the required tag.

Any help or suggestions welcome!
