The Release workflow now calls the shared release-azure-webapp.yml. Run it on main with bump=patch|minor|major, or publish a GitHub release. It waits for CI on the commit, builds once, deploys through the production environment with Azure OIDC, smoke tests /health/ready, and then tags the release. redeploy=vX.Y.Z rolls back.

global.json pins the SDK at 10.0.400 or newer 10.0 feature releases, and CI uses it.

Changes specific to LearnStack:

  • Pushing to main no longer deploys or creates a v0.1.x release. Removes azure-app-service.yml and the publish profile login.
  • Versions now follow CHANGELOG.md. v1.4.0 and v1.4.1 tags are added on the commits released as v0.1.21 and v0.1.22, so the next patch release is v1.4.2.
  • Adds /health/live and /health/ready (database check).
  • Removes version.json and the four docs that described the old pipeline. The README links to the shared RELEASING.md.
  • Tests pass locally (161).

Merge after kasuken/.github#1.

Production now ships only from the Release workflow, which calls
kasuken/.github release-azure-webapp.yml: wait for CI on the commit,
build once, deploy through the production environment with Azure OIDC,
smoke test /health/ready, then tag and publish the release. Redeploying
an existing tag rolls back. global.json pins the SDK for CI and releases.

Also adds /health/live and /health/ready, and removes version.json and
the docs that described the old push-to-deploy pipeline.
