Support Google news sitemap format

I maintain feed2fedi that uses feedparser and I have been asked to look into supporting sites / feeds based on Google's XML news-sitemap.

On initial trial it looks like feedparser is not currently supporting that format.

Do you have any plans on supporting XML news-sitemaps?

Hi @Ni3dzwi3dz, yes it's still open, but maybe get in touch with @kurtmckee before starting. Perhaps he has already started it. I’m looking forward to the implementation. Thank you!
