I'm Dhillon Andrew Kannabhiran, also known as L33tdawg. Founder and CEO of Hack In The Box (HITB), creator of LevelUp CTF and founder of the SAGE Foundation initiative.
When I'm not building stuff, I'm thinking up solutions to problems nobody asked me to solve or making live modular techno with eurorack as DHANKA.
Intelligence. For all of us.
A curious mind shouldn't need a better postcode. I'm building the SAGE Foundation to make useful AI available to people whose connectivity is unreliable and whose resources are limited. Local intelligence, tools people can build and repair, and networks communities can run themselves.
The Foundation is an initiative in formation. Its intended role is to steward the mission, publish signed releases and report progress openly. Personal knowledge belongs to the person who created it; local networks belong to the people who operate them.
SAGE Commons is the wider programme for sharing useful knowledge deliberately, with review and attribution. It's still being developed. SAGE, Mynah, Meshticulum and Lantern support that direction through memory, personal agents, transport and devices.

Building LevelUp CTF made the memory problem hard to ignore. An agent without persistent memory can feel like Leonard Shelby from Memento: capable within a session, then starting over when the next one begins.
SAGE gives AI agents a lasting record of decisions, failed approaches and useful lessons. Agent-signed memories pass through a validation lifecycle, with permissions controlling who can read and contribute. A personal node uses one validator; a multi-validator network requires a BFT quorum. You can inspect the record in CEREBRUM, the local dashboard.
It runs locally and connects to MCP clients, including Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, with a Python SDK and signed REST API for developers. The code is open source under Apache 2.0.

A handheld AI companion being built for learning and everyday problem-solving beyond reliable internet. Local models do the thinking; a private SAGE keeps the owner's knowledge. Voice questions, a camera and a touchscreen bring that work into something you can carry.
Lantern brings SAGE and Meshticulum together in the device. Working prototypes run local AI and voice; hardware, device integration and community networking remain in development.
An experimental transport and resource system for networks that mix LoRa and IP. The work covers recipient-encrypted, sender-authenticated messages and public resources carried as signed manifests and verified chunks. The aim is to keep verified progress through a change of path, and use a faster connection when one becomes available.
Meshticulum began in Lantern and is now a standalone project. It has its own protocol, inspired by the design strengths of MeshCore and Reticulum. The public source and measured results are available as a project preview; the alpha release is still ahead.

A personal AI and agent manager for a Mac you own. Reach it through your Signal Note-to-Self thread with text, voice notes or a live call. Its memory lives in SAGE, and it can find your other agents and hand work to them.
Local models are the default; optional providers and the data that leaves the Mac are explained in the app's Privacy screen.
