Define shared last_checked metadata for maintained knowledge documents and initialize timestamps from review evidence. Require valid UTC timestamp strings and reject documents whose oldest review is more than seven days old. Run knowledge checks on all pull requests, main pushes, daily schedules, and manual dispatch. Document review scope and timestamp maintenance, and correct guide inaccuracies found during metadata initialization. Refs #284
Use the existing pytest jobs to enforce knowledge metadata and review freshness. Remove the duplicate workflow and its additional triggers, and update contributor documentation to describe the existing PR-to-main and release coverage. Refs #284

Standardize all 16 maintained knowledge documents on a hidden YAML metadata block with a UTC
last_checkedtimestamp string. Include root guides, nested documentation, component/example guides, and completed plans; exclude the root legal agreement, release ledger, and GitHub templates.Fail CI when the oldest recorded review is more than seven days old, or when required metadata is missing, malformed, or future-dated. Report the oldest document and timestamp. Enforce this through the existing CI pipeline.
Document how to review pages and update their timestamps, preserve existing review-date evidence, and correct the guide inaccuracies found while initializing metadata.
