Something isn't working

Exempt from the changelog-fragment gate: no user-visible change, or the release commit

Produces plausible-looking wrong results with no error: the failure is silent, not loud

Improvements or additions to documentation

This issue or pull request already exists

An improvement to something bngsim already does: refactors, lifted refusals, tooling

Blocked on an external event; no action possible here until it lands

Extra attention is needed

Accepted and wanted soon; no delivery promise

This doesn't seem right

A real defect that no current input reaches; found by reasoning or adjacent work, not by a failure

Worth doing; not on the near-term queue

Undefined behavior in the C++ layer: out-of-bounds access, use-after-free, or leak

A capability bngsim does not have today: a new model construct, method or analysis

Nice-to-have; not required for correctness

A correct result that costs more wall time, setup or memory than it should

Further information is requested

Test suites, parity checks, nightlies and benchmarks: how bngsim is checked, not what it computes

Umbrella issue that tracks a family of related defects

This will not be worked on
