- **Recover context, not just one prompt.** Continue carries bounded prior
instructions, replies and recorded compaction summaries. Fork stops before
the selected question's subsequent work. Cutoffs and missing context are
explicit; neither mode restores historical files.
- **Find archived and delegated work.** Search includes Codex archives and
both agents' child transcripts, with file selectors and proven parent steps.
- **Account for Codex children.** Descendant tokens stay separate from main
usage; evidenced inherited calls are deduplicated and unknown attribution
is labeled rather than guessed.
- **Compare recent sessions on demand.** `--sessions --usage` and MCP
`agent_tree_sessions` with `usage: true` add token totals. The default
catalog stays metadata-only; absent usage is not reported as zero.
