longla is a personal command-line interface to quickly navigate to your most used directories.

Make sure all the files (
longla,install.sh,uninstall.sh) are in the same directory. -
Run the installer script from your terminal:
bash install.sh
The script will ask for your password (
sudo) to move thelonglafile to/usr/local/bin, a standard directory for user-installed executables. -
Once the installation is complete, apply the changes to your terminal:
source ~/.zshrc
That's it! The longla command is ready to use.
Now you can use the longla command from anywhere in your terminal.
To see the list of all available commands and their descriptions, use the -h or --help flag:
longla -h-
Navigate to your main working directory:
longla work
(This will take you to
/Volumes/Data) -
Navigate to the Ruh Roh Retreat project:
longla rrr
(This will take you to
/Volumes/Data/projects/johnny-biz-pet)
To remove the CLI and all its components, run the uninstaller script:
bash uninstall.shThen, reload your shell configuration:
source ~/.zshrc
