Summary

  • add Markitdown Online as a document conversion tool
  • add a 200 x 200 tool icon and a homepage screenshot
  • document the Markdown syntax supported by its built-in editor

Validation

  • validated the YAML front matter and all 28 syntax IDs
  • verified the icon and screenshot paths, formats, and dimensions
  • verified https://markitdown.tech/ returns HTTP 200
  • verified the Netlify deploy preview builds and renders the tool page and external link
  • git diff --check passes

Test status

The Netlify build and deploy preview passed. The repository GitHub Actions test workflow is awaiting maintainer approval because this pull request comes from a public fork. The full Jekyll suite was not run locally because this machine has Ruby 2.6, while the repository workflow uses Ruby 3.2.1.
