Summary

Two independent changes on one branch:

  • ci: replace the per-repo secret-scan steps with a call to mechubsec/.github's reusable gitleaks workflow, pinned by SHA. The check now reports as secrets / gitleaks.
  • docs: add docs/data-modeling-faq.md and docs/data-model.md for the data engineering and data science team.
    • The FAQ covers raw samples per ingest source, what is normalized at ingest, open modeling problems, arrival frequency, the main table, and the questions LLMs ask through MCP.
    • The data model doc covers every ClickHouse table, vocabulary, ID derivation, grant and lineage path, plus known modeling problems.

Live numbers in the docs are aggregates from 2026-10-17. Raw samples are the existing vector.toml test fixtures, which use documentation addresses only.

Test plan

  • secrets / gitleaks check runs and passes on this PR
  • Docs render on GitHub (tables and the mermaid diagram)

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Answers the data team's questions (raw samples per source, ingest
frequency, main table, LLM query patterns) and documents every
ClickHouse table, vocabulary, ID derivation, grant and lineage path.
