Summary

  • Point diagramsdir at ../slides/diagrams so CIP-0010 publishes figures under /<course>/slides/diagrams/ rather than /<course>/diagrams/.
  • Use the Cambridge slide theme: talktheme: white, talkcss: mlatcl.css, talkfontsize: xs, with slides/mlatcl.css in the repo.
  • Standardise _lamd/compile.sh to run maketalk from lectures.csv and optional worksheets.csv.

Test plan

  • Confirm _lamd.yml has diagramsdir: ../slides/diagrams/ (and slidesdir: ../slides/).
  • Confirm slides/mlatcl.css is present and talkcss / talkfontsize match.
  • Run _lamd/compile.sh for one lecture stub from the CSV.
  • Check a compiled slide HTML src for diagrams is /<course>/slides/diagrams/..., not /<course>/diagrams/....

Use ../slides/diagrams/ instead of ./slides/diagrams/ so diagram
resolution finds the repo slides/diagrams/ directory.
… compile.

Point diagramsdir at ../slides/diagrams so published HTML does not resolve
to /<course>/diagrams/, copy mlatcl.css, and drive maketalk from lectures.csv
plus worksheets.csv.
Keep published HTML under slides/diagrams via diagramswebpath so CIP-0010
does not fall back to /<course>/diagrams/.
The names are easy to mix: diagramsdir is the filesystem copy source,
diagramswebpath is the published URL path, and slidesdir is where HTML
and copied figures land.
maketalk needed macrosdir, people.yml, and slidesheader; the rebuilt notebooks pick up the pandas/GeoPandas snippet fixes.
…LaTeX.

GitHub Actions has no latex binary; usetex=True made lecture 03 fail in texmanager.
Recompile DSA notebooks and add smoke tests
