Rust SDK — SEP-2640 Skills support #155

SEP-2640 is accepted, but the Rust SDK (rmcp) does not yet have first-class support for the Skills extension. The rust-sdk repository has no tracking issue for it.

Describe the solution you'd like

Track the work to add SEP-2640 Skills support to the Rust SDK, including skills/list, skills/get, and the related extension behaviour.

There is an open implementation PR, awaiting review:

modelcontextprotocol/rust-sdk#1286

Describe alternatives you've considered

Using custom requests directly, but SDK-level support gives users a more consistent and typed API.

Additional context

Goose host support (aaif-goose/goose#12068) is planned as an rmcp change plus a Goose change, so it depends on this work.
