Summary

  • Adds a Next.js chat console in web/. It stores documents, asks the agent, and shows the tool, mode, and cache flag. Same-origin /api routes proxy to API_URL, so a Vercel project rooted at web does not need browser CORS.
  • Adds Kubernetes manifests for Redis, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, the API, the ingest worker, and the web UI. Services are headless so in-cluster DNS returns pod addresses. scripts/kind-smoke.sh loads the images into kind and checks ingest plus 2*(3+4) through the web proxy.
  • Updates the README with desktop and narrow screenshots and deploy steps for Vercel, Render, Fly, and kind.

Verification

  • pytest -q: 31 passed
  • npm run build in web/ succeeded
  • Browser test: saved a document, asked about the refund policy (hit d1 via search_docs), calculated 2*(3+4) as 14, and a repeat showed the cached chip. At 390px the document form stacks above the chat.
  • ./scripts/kind-smoke.sh exited 0: rollouts became ready, the queued document was searchable, and the web proxy returned 14 for 2*(3+4).

The console stores documents, asks questions, and shows the tool, mode,
and cache flag. Same-origin /api routes forward to API_URL, which is what
a Vercel project rooted at web uses.

Headless services let in-cluster DNS reach pod IPs. The smoke script loads
the API, web, Redis, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ images into kind and checks
ingest plus a calculation through the web proxy. The broker client retries
while RabbitMQ is still starting.

The README shows the desktop and narrow layouts and how to host the UI on
Vercel while the API stays on Render or Fly.
