The SDK README still said the hosted testnet MPP endpoint rejects payments (what we saw on 1 Oct). That's no longer true, so the text was misleading in the other direction.

Re-tested on 15 Oct 2026 (UTC) with the published nirium@0.16.1, initMpp() + mppFetch() against https://nirium-agent.fly.dev/api/v1/mpp/signals:

mode status tx (Stellar testnet)
pull 200 + Payment-Receipt b8c4ed56…
push 200 + Payment-Receipt 96d43d6f…

Both show on Horizon as 0.02 USDC SAC transfers to the box's recipient GC4Q5TWW…UOPC. The same day the reference @stellar/mpp 0.7.1 client also settled three payments (/signals pull, /market push and pull).

What stays as it was: mainnet is still untested (it would spend real USDC), the section still says "not for production", and the Python README still says mpp_fetch() cannot pay. Only its note about the hosted endpoint changes.

Disclosure: drafted with AI assistance under my direction and reviewed by hand.

On 15 Oct 2026 nirium@0.16.1's initMpp()/mppFetch() paid
nirium-agent.fly.dev/api/v1/mpp/signals in pull and push mode; both
settled on Stellar testnet (b8c4ed56..., 96d43d6f...) and returned the
resource. The 1 Oct "402 Verification Failed" no longer reproduces.

Mainnet stays untested and the section keeps "not for production".
The Python README keeps saying its mpp_fetch() cannot pay; only the
note about the hosted endpoint changes.
