Standardize UI pagination: 15/25/50 for lists, 12/24/48 for card grids #35468
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Pagination page sizes are inconsistent across the UI. Paged lists and card grids each picked their own numbers, so the same kind of view behaves differently from page to page:
List and table pages use 10, 15, 20, 5 or 9 per page depending on the page (e.g. Domains/Data Products 9, Metrics 20, Reindex failures 20, Context Center memories 10, the glossary conflict table 5), and some pickers offer 10/15/25/50 or 10/25/50.
Card grids (Settings → Applications, the Applications marketplace, Personas, Workflow Definitions, Settings → Services card view) offer 15/25/50, so rows of 2, 3 or 4 cards never fill evenly.
Pages with a table/card toggle use one size for both views.
The page-size URL parameter and the saved page-size preference are shared across pages, so a size from one page (e.g. 48 from a grid) can land in a picker that has no such option and render as an unselectable value.
To reproduce: open Settings → Services → APIs, switch to card view, pick 24 per page, then switch back to table view: the URL keeps pageSize=24 while the table picker offers 15/25/50.
Pages with a table/card toggle use the scale of the current view, return to page 1 when the view changes, and remember the size last picked in each view.
A page size from the URL or saved preference that is not on the page's scale is replaced with the scale's default, so an off-scale value is never shown.
Describe alternatives you've considered
A single 15/25/50 scale for everything (card grids then leave half-empty rows), or keeping per-page sizes (how the current inconsistency arose).
