The general doc applies to all contributions.

Working on a specific contribution is a great opportunity to participate, and ultimately become an opensource maintainer.

For each separate independent contribution, the following is needed:

• Upgrade existing GitHub workflows
• Make sure CI runs properly
• Upgrade dependencies on other software packages
• Review existing pending pull requests (PR)

Hi, In the task above it says improve contributing setup guide. Is there any info available on how to build/test the repo then maybe I can try it out on my system and update the document accordingly.
