Summary

Follow-up to #1392, on #1379. A legend with many classes is the case the placement search can't solve: on a map of Minas Gerais' geology by period (25 classes, IBGE BDiA), an A4 landscape layout cut the legend's last 8 classes and warned about it. Laid in two columns, every class fits.

  1. A legend's "columns", 1 to 3. layout.addElement and layout.update take it, and the element's Format pane has a Columns field. The rows go under the title as evenly as they can, by the height they take (fix(layout): draw a legend's points as the map does #1442's tall rows count as they are). Each column is as wide as its widest row and has its own column of symbols. A layer's name stays with the row under it.
  2. layout.publication picks them from the room the map leaves. It finds the largest rectangle with nothing drawn in the frame, and the legend takes the fewest columns that fit it. When none fits, a long legend (over a quarter of the frame's height) or one that is cut is tried in more, as before: more columns win when they show more of the legend, or as much while covering at least a quarter less of what the map draws. The answer gains "legendColumns".
  3. Polygons with no fill and no labels don't count as what the map draws. Neighbouring borders cross the whole frame, so with them no rectangle is free and every corner looks equally full. This holds for every surround's placement, not only the legend's. A layer with No Fill counts as having no fill; one with a stacked fill such as a hatch, a fill by expression, diagrams or extrusion doesn't. If nothing else is shown, they count.
  4. A cut legend now costs an arrangement. best adds ten times the area a legend loses to its neighbours, so an arrangement that keeps its rows beats one that only moves less.

A legend that fits the free rectangle in one column stays in one. A legend with one column saves and draws as before.

Changes

  • rustgis-map, layout.rs: ElementKind::Legend { columns }, default 1, left out of the saved file at 1; MAX_LEGEND_COLUMNS.
  • rustgis-render, layout.rs:
    • flow and balanced lay the rows into columns; legend draws them through legend_column (the old row loop).
    • legend_size_mm becomes legend_sizes_mm, one size per column count, so a complete source is read once;
    • frame_coverage sets aside layers that only outline their polygons (only_outlines), and shows them again after.
  • rustgis-engine, cmd/layout.rs:
    • the columns parameter, refused outside 1 to 3 and on other elements;
    • lay_out takes the legend's box; publication takes the columns that fit largest_free_cells, and otherwise compares the column counts with more_columns_win.
  • rustgis-ui-egui, layoutview.rs: the Columns field.
  • docs/user-guide/layouts.md and the print-layout skill.

Kind of change

Under Maintaining RustGIS, the additions are the kind any maintainer can approve: an optional command parameter ("columns"), a field in a command's output ("legendColumns"), and an optional field in the project file. An older RustGIS opens a file with "columns", draws the legend in one column, and drops the field if it saves the file: that costs the setting, not data. No format version changes. One thing changes what an existing command does: layout.publication can place its surrounds differently on maps with outline-only polygons, and picks columns for long legends. This wasn't proposed on #1379 beforehand, so a maintainer may want to weigh that part.

Choices in this PR

  • The largest free rectangle, not a number of rows. A fixed number of rows wouldn't know the map: 25 classes fit one column beside a narrow state and not above a wide one. On A4 portrait, the largest rectangle is the band above the state, so the legend takes three columns there.
  • Column counts are compared after laying out when no shape fits the rectangle. A first version took the fewest columns that fit the frame. On a half-page figure of the same map, two fit but covered the north of the state, and three covered much less.
  • Outline-only polygons are set aside in the drawing, not thinned out of the grid. Eroding the grid would also lose small labels and point symbols, which a surround must stay off.
  • A quarter less, before a column more. Otherwise a small gain would split a legend that reads fine. Boxes of equal content have about the same area, so only a shape that suits the map wins.
  • Each column is as wide as its widest row, not all equally wide: the legend is narrower, and so covers less.
  • In a box too narrow the columns close up, rather than a column being left out unseen. Long labels run into the next column, and those of the last run past the box, as a long label in one column does today.
  • "columns" out of range is refused, unlike ticks and divisions, which clamp: nothing here is approximate, and a script is told. A value out of range in a file edited by hand draws as the nearest.
  • The project format gains one optional field. A file without it opens with one column; a file with one column doesn't carry it.

Limits

  • A legend in a side column (panel, editorial, modular) stays in one: that column is about as wide as its rows.
  • Fonts stay at their fixed sizes. In a one-column figure (90 mm), the 25 classes in two columns still come out wider than the box: they close up, labels touch, the longest label of the last column runs past the box's background, and the answer warns.
  • A legend whose classes aren't known yet (a layer still reading, a legend picture still loading) keeps its fixed size in one column.
  • A hand-made legend keeps its box: raising "columns" doesn't widen it. layout.update and layout.addElement warn when "columns" is given and the box loses rows or closes the columns up, and layout.update warns too when a legend in columns has its box, title or listed layers changed; if the check can't run, because the frame has no map or a source can't be read, it says so. Adding layers to the map says nothing until one of those is done, and a legend in one column with no "columns" in the command stays as silent as it was before this PR. WMS and WMTS legend pictures still loading aren't counted. Dropping a resized legend in columns runs the check once, which reads a complete source through as drawing the page does. In layout.publication the answer warns.
  • A surround can now sit on a polygon with no fill and no labels. When such a polygon is the map's main subject beside other layers, it isn't protected; a map showing only such layers still is.
  • A filled context layer still counts as data, so it can leave no free rectangle. Then the earlier comparison decides.
  • Any drawn cell breaks the rectangle, so scattered points or labels make it small, and the earlier comparison decides.
  • The rectangle is measured before the surrounds are placed, so the locator or the north arrow can take part of it.
  • With fonts at their fixed sizes, a small figure can have no room for the legend in any shape. The half-page figure below shows it: every class is listed, but the legend covers the north of the state, and the answer doesn't warn.
  • The Columns field was checked in a headless screenshot (ui_shot), not in a real window.

Testing

  • a_legends_rows_go_into_columns: heights and widths per column count, a layer's name kept with its row, a box too short and one too narrow, values out of range.
  • a_publication_legend_too_long_goes_into_columns: 3, 60, 100 and 200 layers give 1, 3, 3 and 3 columns (the last with its warning), long labels warn, data under a long legend gives two columns, and one column isn't saved.
  • a_publication_legend_takes_the_columns_that_fit_the_free_rectangle: data along the bottom of the page gives two columns, also with an outline-only layer across the free band, which is shown again after.
  • the_largest_free_rectangle_of_a_grid, frame_coverage_leaves_out_layers_that_only_outline.
  • a_legends_columns_hold_large_point_symbols: columns balanced by the rows' real height, and a column of small symbols staying narrow beside one of large ones.
  • a_publication_legend_that_fits_whole_stays_in_one_column, a_publication_legend_left_out_has_one_column.
  • more_columns_win_by_showing_more_or_covering_less, a_legend_takes_columns_from_one_to_three, a_legends_columns_say_when_its_box_is_too_small, a_layers_name_stays_with_its_class_only_in_columns.

Local run on Windows, on main db9a5de: fmt, clippy (whole workspace) and cargo xtask layers pass; 4,195 tests pass. Four tests that hang or fail in a full run on this PC, also on a clean main, were left out (record_tests::an_anonymous_download…, record_tests::whitespace_downloads…, a_landed_download_says_how_it_went_in_the_dialog, mapgpu::tests::parity_vector_tile_meshes). One engine test failed, untouched here: service_logins::an_oversized_ogc_items_binding_is_refused_before_native_fetch, intermittent since #1223. cargo xtask ci wasn't run whole, because it stops at the first failure.

UI evidence

Every map here is in an Albers equal-area conic centred on the state, placed by layout.publication with nothing moved by hand; only the graticule step was set to 2° on the sheets.

Same map, A4 landscape. Before (main, 17 of 25 classes) and after:

A4 portrait, where the largest free rectangle is the band above the state, so the legend takes three columns:

Half-page figure (two columns, covering the north of the state, as Limits says) and the Format pane:

…s use them for long legends (opengeos#1379)

A legend's "columns" goes from 1 to 3, in layout.addElement, layout.update
and the Format pane. layout.publication finds the largest rectangle the map
leaves free and takes the fewest columns that fit it; when none fits, a long
or cut legend is tried in more. Polygons with no fill and no labels don't
count as what the map draws, unless nothing else is shown.

… more than an outline

No Fill counts as having no fill whatever the renderer; a transparent symbol
under stacked fills doesn't.

Walkthrough

Publication layouts evaluate legend sizes across one to three columns. Legend elements support configurable columns, and rendering balances rows within the legend box. Layout commands validate the setting and return the selected column count.

Legend elements gain a columns setting that defaults to 1 and is omitted from serialization at that default. Add and update commands validate values from 1 through 3 and reject the setting on non-legend elements. The Format pane adds a bounded Columns control.
Multi-column legend rendering and sizing
crates/render/src/layout.rs, crates/render/src/stream_tests.rs, crates/render/src/svg.rs
Legend rows are balanced across the requested columns, with layer headings kept with following rows. Rendering fits columns to the box width and truncates rows to the available height. The sizing API returns dimensions for each supported column count. Frame coverage excludes outline-only polygon layers when other content is shown.
Publication legend fit and coverage
crates/engine/src/cmd/layout.rs, crates/engine/src/tests.rs, docs/user-guide/layouts.md
Publication layout evaluates legend sizes against available map space and may select additional columns based on displayed content and map coverage. It stores and returns legendColumns. Fit checks report warnings for clipped content.

Code review

I read the full diff, the base-branch AGENTS.md, and the surrounding code. I checked largest_free_cells by hand against every unit-test grid and all of them come out as asserted. The stack loop is sound because heights has a trailing zero sentinel. frame_coverage has no early return between hiding the outline layers and building Aside, so they are always restored. I could not compile or run the tests here, so the build and test status is unverified.

Bugs

  • legendColumns can report more than one column when no legend is placed (moderate confidence, ~70%). When the locator leaves the legend no room in every arrangement, the column search still runs and can accept columns with zero shown. Inline comment posted with a suggested fix.

Security

  • None found. The new parameter goes through legend_columns_param, which refuses non-integers and out-of-range values, and the hostile_params path stays covered.

Performance

  • Nothing significant. legend_sizes_mm measures row text three times, once per column count, and the extra arranged calls are cheap. Low concern.

Quality

  • layout.update with columns on a missing element id returns "only legends have columns" instead of no element N (high confidence). Inline comment posted.
  • legend() clamps out-of-range columns from a hand-edited file to the nearest value without a notice (low confidence). The PR states this choice explicitly. AGENTS.md's "never silent" rule covers data, and a column count is a setting, so I'd treat this as a judgement call for the maintainer rather than a defect.
  • A narrow frame would pass a negative wide to legend_room via w.min(wide), and legend_room doesn't floor w. I could not find a shipped profile where this happens, so this is low confidence and not posted.

AGENTS.md

  • No violations found. The new UI label is wrapped in tl!, the new saved field is optional with a default, the warnings go through the existing notice path, and no vendor code appears in the diff. The saved-field change follows the optional-field rule in docs/maintaining.md, which explicitly allows it without a format version bump.

Already raised earlier: 0. The PR has no prior review threads.

Assert the rendered classes in each column.

The rendering checks measure only the furthest ink coordinates. They can pass if an interior class is omitted while later rows stay in place. Check that each expected class appears once, including the expected visible classes in a short box.

GitHub Pages takes a minute or two to publish a new commit.

- A legend left out reports one column: a longer layout that also leaves
it out no longer replaces the search's best.
- A legend that one column shows whole in the free rectangle stays in one,
past the 45% and 60% a legend's box starts with.
- A saved layout's legend columns are clamped to 1 to 3.
- A layer's name isn't drawn alone at the foot of a column.
- A class's stacked fill is more than an outline in frame coverage.
- Frame coverage decides what else draws at the frame's scale, not whatever
is ticked on: outlines beside a layer out of scale are what the map shows.

Code review

Bugs

  • No new bugs found that I'd rate above low confidence. The column search in publication (crates/engine/src/cmd/layout.rs ~1939–1972) only accepts a candidate when a legend is placed (more.1.0.is_some()), so the earlier thread about legendColumns with no legend placed no longer applies. I didn't repost it.

Security

  • None found. The new code has no unsafe, unwrap, or panic paths in non-test code. Indexing into sizes[…] is bounded by a fixed three-element array.

Performance

  • publication now runs arranged(...) up to four times for a long legend, and legend_sizes_mm plus legend recompute row heights through balanced/flow about 24 times per call. Caching the heights once per call would remove most of that. Low confidence (~30%) that it matters for typical legends.

Quality

  • The 0.6·fh cap is applied in the column loop (crates/engine/src/cmd/layout.rs ~1967) but not in the free-rectangle branch (~1956). Each branch measures shown against its own size, so a legend that fits the free rectangle can be taller than the cap the other branch enforces. Low confidence (~35%). Possibly intended, but the difference should be stated or made consistent.

AGENTS.md

  • Never silent (inline comment posted at crates/engine/src/cmd/layout.rs:3232, ~65%): layout.update and layout.addElement with columns can drop rows or close columns on a hand-made legend with no notice. Only layout.publication warns.
  • Saved files (~40%, for maintainers): an older RustGIS draws one column and drops columns on save. docs/maintaining.md allows that for optional fields only when the loss is "a setting rather than data or a different result". Here the printed result differs. The PR flags this, so the decision is for maintainers.
  • Clamping (~30%): Layout::clamp silently turns 0 and 999 into 1 and 3. The PR says that matches ticks and divisions, but AGENTS.md asks that approximations be reported.
  • Quality gates: the PR body says cargo xtask ci was not run in full, layers did not run, two rustgis-engine tests fail in a full run, and four rustgis-ui-egui tests were left out. AGENTS.md asks for cargo xtask ci before every commit.
  • Screenshots: the PR body has only <!-- attach: … --> placeholders and no image links. AGENTS.md requires screenshots in the PR for visible changes, so the Columns UI and the publication results are unverified.

Prior review threads

layout.update and layout.addElement left a hand-made legend's lost rows or
closed-up columns unsaid, against AGENTS.md's Never silent. Given "columns",
they now warn with the check and words layout.publication uses.

AGENTS.md / policy question (about 35% confidence, for maintainers): a new saved field without a format version change.

docs/maintaining.md says a format's version goes up when a file uses something an older reader would lose. A legend with "columns" is that case: an older RustGIS reads the legend in one column and drops the field on its next save. The PR body acknowledges this and says no version changes. The exclude field added the same way is the precedent, so this may be deliberate. Worth a maintainer's confirmation before merge.

No change here: this is for a maintainer, as you say. The field follows exclude (#518) and the text font family (#675), which were added as optional fields with no version change. By the letter of the rule it is a loss: an older RustGIS draws the legend in one column and drops the setting if it saves the file. No map data is lost. The PR text says this too. If a maintainer wants a version change here, I'll make it. Leaving this open for that view.

Code review

I reviewed the full diff against the base and the repository guidelines in AGENTS.md. The column search, the outline-only exclusion, the serialization and the UI field all read as correct. The findings below are the ones I'd raise. I did not run the test suite.

Bugs

  • None confirmed.

Security

  • None found. Inputs are validated (columns is refused outside 1 to 3), and the new code has no unwrap or unsafe.

Performance

  • layout.publication now lays out the arrangements up to about four times. I didn't find a hot spot, so this is a note, not a finding.

Quality

  • One-column legends draw differently, despite the PR saying they don't (about 70%). The new heading check in legend_column applies to every column count. A layer's name at the foot of a one-column legend is now dropped when the class under it doesn't fit. The PR body says one-column legends "draw as before". Inline comment posted at crates/render/src/layout.rs:1576.
  • Minor nit, not posted: legend_fit_warnings (crates/engine/src/cmd/layout.rs:2328) guards too_wide with h > 0.0 but leaves too_tall unguarded in the multi-column branch. An empty legend whose box is shorter than its title would get a "lists more than fits" warning. Rare, about 40% confidence.
  • Minor nit, not posted: the fixed-size cap for a long legend is h.min(fh * 0.6) in the loop but not in the fits branch. That may be intentional, since a legend that fits the free rectangle doesn't cover data.

AGENTS.md

  • Never silent (about 45%): say_legend_fit returns with no notice when legend_sizes_mm gives None or the frame's map isn't found by name. The fit check is then skipped silently. This follows the earlier layout.update thread, which the fix addressed, but the new code still has a silent path. Inline comment posted at crates/engine/src/cmd/layout.rs:2355.
  • Format version (about 35%, for maintainers): a new columns field is saved without a version change. docs/maintaining.md says the version goes up when an older reader would lose something. The exclude field was added the same way, so this may be deliberate. Inline comment posted at crates/map/src/layout.rs:929.

Prior reviews: there are 8 threads, all resolved. I did not re-raise any of them. The layout.update silent-change thread is related to the new silent path above, which is new code, so I raised it as a new point.

…e of what its box loses (opengeos#1379)

- A layer's name waits for room for its class only in columns: a legend
in one column draws it alone at its foot, as it does on main.
- A legend in columns is checked again when its box, title or listed
layers change, not only when "columns" is given; a move isn't checked.
- A fit check that can't run says so: a frame with no map of this project,
or a source that can't be read through.

Never silent (AGENTS.md, about 45% confidence): an out-of-range columns in a saved file is clamped with no notice.

The PR text says a value out of range in a hand-edited file "draws as the nearest". Layout::clamp runs on every layout at load (crates/engine/src/project.rs:800), so "columns": 999 becomes 3 and 0 becomes 1 with nothing said. AGENTS.md says a reader that approximates data must say what, how much and where, and that existing silent losses are bugs.

The other clamps in Layout::clamp are silent too, so this follows an existing pattern. Fixing it would mean Layout::clamp returning what it changed, and the project load passing that to Session::notify. That is larger than a one-line change, so I'm raising it as a question for maintainers rather than suggesting a fix.

No change here: as you say, this is a question for maintainers. Every clamp in Layout::clamp is silent, so columns follows that pattern, and saying what a load changed would mean Layout::clamp returning it and the project load passing it to Session::notify, for all of them. That's better as its own change than as part of this PR. I'm leaving this open for a maintainer's view.

Code review

I read the full diff, the prior review threads, and the source the new code depends on. The search for free rectangles, the columns, the fit checks and the outline-only coverage all hold up on reading. I did not run the tests; I checked the logic by reading.

Bugs

  • A titled legend with no listed rows, given "columns": 2 and a box shorter than its title, gets "lists more than fits its box: its last rows are left out" though nothing is listed. too_tall in legend_fit_warnings isn't guarded by h > 0.0, unlike the other flags. Low severity, about 60% confidence. Inline comment posted with a suggested one-line fix.

Security

  • None found.

Performance

  • say_legend_fit reads complete sources on each layout.update that resizes a legend in columns. The PR body already states this trade-off, so I'm not raising it.

Quality

  • Nits, not posted inline:
    • The doc comment about publication legends in columns sits above the_largest_free_rectangle_of_a_grid in crates/engine/src/tests.rs, and a_publication_legend_too_long_goes_into_columns has none.
    • at_most_one in publication is the legend's starting box, so the name is misleading.
    • The Legend { … } struct literal is repeated at the call sites.

AGENTS.md

  • Never silent, about 45% confidence: an out-of-range columns in a saved file is clamped by Layout::clamp at load with no notice. This follows the existing silent clamps, so I'm raising it as a question for maintainers. Inline comment posted.
  • Checked and fine: the wasm-facing code uses no std::time, the new params have no unwrap, and every ElementKind::Legend site is covered by the diff or uses ...

Prior threads

  • I left 12 earlier threads alone. One is open: the format-version question on columns, a maintainer policy call that I did not repeat. Two are outdated but fixed in the current code: the one-column name drop and the silent legend_sizes_mm failure. Nine are resolved.

Quality (about 35% confidence): the fits branch and the column loop cap the legend's height differently.

Here the one-column candidate is laid out at its full height, arranged((w.min(wide), h)). The loop just below (line 1967) lays out the same kind of candidate at h.min(fh * 0.6), and the baseline surround is also capped at fh * 0.6 (line 1840). So a legend that fits the free rectangle can be placed taller than the 60% cap, while every multi-column candidate the loop tries is held to it, and shown divides by the uncapped height in both places.

This may be intended, since "fits the free rectangle" should mean full size. If so, a short comment saying the cap is lifted on purpose would help the next reader. If not, the two calls should use the same height limit.

Code review

Bugs

  • No new bugs found in the changed code. I checked the largest_free_cells stack algorithm, the bounds in flow, balanced, column_parts and legend, and frame_coverage's set-aside and restore. Visibility is checked through draws_at. The Aside restore has no early return between setting and restoring. Nothing I found panics. I did not run the tests: this environment has no shell, so the claimed test results are unverified.

Security

  • None found. The new columns parameter is parsed by legend_columns_param, which refuses non-integers and anything outside 1 to 3.

Performance

  • say_legend_fit reads complete sources on every layout.update that changes a legend's box or content while it has columns. The PR body discloses this. The cost is bounded, so I'm not raising it.

Quality

  • Inline comment posted at crates/engine/src/cmd/layout.rs:1956 (confidence about 35%). The fits branch lays out a one-column legend at its full height, while the column loop and the baseline surround cap it at 60% of the frame height. It may be intended, but nothing says so.

AGENTS.md

  • No violations found in the changed code. Everything the never silent rule touches is reported through Session::warn or the publication warnings. The new UI label is wrapped in tl!. The docs and skill text are updated.
  • Process, not code: the PR body says cargo xtask ci was not run as a whole. It also reports one engine test failing (service_logins::an_oversized_ogc_items_binding_is_refused_before_native_fetch, intermittent) and four tests left out. CI should confirm these pass before merge.
  • The screenshots appear in the body only as <!-- attach --> comments. I could not verify that the images are attached.

Already raised, left alone (11 earlier concerns): the saved-field format-version question, the silent Layout::clamp of columns, the legendColumns result with no legend, the update 999 error message, the one-column name regression, the zero-height "lists more than fits" warning, the silent fit check on layout.update and addElement, the fits-branch and out-of-scale coverage issues, the missing cargo xtask ci run, and the outline-only coverage with class fill stacks.

Test gap (AGENTS.md "Test both ways", about 50% confidence). This is a new notice for lossy input, the case where a complete source can't be read through so the fit isn't checked. The PR's own tests cover the missing-map notice (a_legends_columns_say_when_its_box_is_too_small) but not this one, and the PR text says so. AGENTS.md asks for a test that gives the notice here and one that gives none for clean input. A short test with an unreadable complete source in a legend with "columns" would cover it.

AGENTS.md "says what, how much and where" (about 45% confidence). The new messages here, "its last rows are left out" and "they close up", say what is lost but not how much, and they don't name the layout or element. The repo already has the convention for counts, for example "1 rows couldn't be read" in the export notices. Giving the number of rows left out, or the width short, and the element id would meet the rule. Also, the notices aren't counted per kind across the rows, so a box that loses many rows gets the same single sentence.

Code review

Bugs

  • No confirmed bugs. I traced largest_free_cells (the stack-based maximal rectangle), flow/balanced/legend() (sizing and drawing agree), the column-count search in publication, and the frame_coverage outline handling. All checked out. (confidence: high)
  • Low: wide = fw - left - right - 2.0 - aw (crates/engine/src/cmd/layout.rs:1944) is not clamped. In a very narrow frame it goes negative, and w.min(wide) then passes a negative or zero legend width into arranged. A zero-width candidate could still win on the over comparison, so a clamp alone isn't enough. Needs a guard that skips the column search when wide is too small. Not verified by a test. (confidence: low, ~25%)

Security

  • None found. The changes are numeric layout code and command parameters, with no I/O or secrets.

Performance

  • say_legend_fit (layout.rs:2347) reads each complete source through synchronously. It runs on every layout.update that changes w/h/title/allClasses/hideOther/exclude for a legend in columns, which includes the Layout view's resize-end. On large PostGIS or GeoPackage sources that is a full read per edit. The PR discloses this, so this is a note, not a defect. (confidence: medium)

Quality

  • The legend_column name-with-class break and flow's Head+Class unit agree, so no row is dropped in a non-last column. Confirmed by reading.
  • Left alone: the open thread on layout.rs:1956 (fits branch uses uncapped height, the loop uses fh * 0.6). It is still unresolved and the code it points at has not changed.

AGENTS.md

  • Inline: the new unreadable-source notice (layout.rs:2365) has no test, which breaks "Test both ways" (~50%).
  • Inline: the new fit messages (layout.rs:2327) say what is lost but not how much or where, which breaks "says what, how much and where" (~45%).
  • Not raised again, already covered by open threads: the columns field in a saved file without a format version change (map/src/layout.rs:929), and the silent clamp in Layout::clamp (map/src/layout.rs:1340). Both threads show the author and reviewers deferring these to maintainers.

Prior threads: 14 threads on this PR were read. I left 12 alone because they were already raised, answered, or resolved. Only the 2 new AGENTS.md concerns above were posted as inline comments.
