OCPNETUI-204: Add dedicated BGPCloudConfiguration and BGPRouting views - #642
Adds dedicated Console UI for BGPCloudConfiguration and BGPRouting, including guided forms, status/conditions, generated networking resources, namespace/node matching, and the FLAG_BGP_ENABLED CRD gate.
Added BGP Cloud Configuration and BGP Routing views for creating, editing, and inspecting resources, including status, conditions, and related network resources.
Cloud configuration forms support platform-specific settings and router-node selection. Routing forms validate subnet CIDRs and show matching namespaces.
BGP views are available when both required resource types are present.
Added translated labels, guidance, status messages, and errors for BGP configuration and routing.
Documentation
Updated the networking views list to include BGP Cloud Configuration and BGP Routing.
Tests
Added smoke tests for both BGP pages and coverage for BGP forms and lists.
Skipping CI for Draft Pull Request.
If you want CI signal for your change, please convert it to an actual PR.
You can still manually trigger a test run with /test all

Summary
Resource contracts and feature registration src/utils/models/index.ts, src/utils/resources/bgp.ts, src/utils/flags/*, src/views/bgp/manifest.ts, plugin-manifest.ts
Defines the BGP resource models and types, condition and selector helpers, CIDR validation, feature-flag hook, and feature-gated page extensions.
BGP forms and payload handling src/views/bgp/form/*, tests/unit/BGPFormUtils.test.ts, package.json
Adds cloud-configuration and routing forms with form/YAML editing, resource payload builders, ASN and CIDR validation, and unit-test execution setup.
Lists and resource details src/views/bgp/list/*, src/views/bgp/details/*, src/views/bgp/components/*, src/views/bgp/olm.ts, src/utils/components/DetailsSectionTitle/DetailsSectionTitle.tsx
Adds BGP lists and details pages, status and condition display, related-resource views, and shared page helpers.
Translations and integration tests locales/*/plugin__networking-console-plugin.json, integration-tests/tests/bgp.cy.ts, integration-tests/tests/list-pages.cy.ts, README.md
Adds BGP interface text across six locales and browser checks for BGP forms and list pages. The README adds the two BGP views.
Merge Risk:🟡 Moderate · up to 23620
The new BGP forms hide the ASN validation message while disabling Save, so users cannot tell why they cannot submit. The platform dropdown id is misplaced, which breaks the Cypress selector. Stale errors from a previously selected platform can also keep Save disabled. The YAML editor can be reset by watch updates. Resolve the form issues before merging; the delete-redirect concern is lower impact and unconfirmed.

## `console.page/resource/details`
### Summary
Adds a new resource details page to Console router.
The page component replaces the Console default resource details view for instances of the given
model.
The page component should use the `namespace` prop passed by Console instead of parsing the
namespace from the URL, since Console renders the page on several different routes.

model.
The page component must therefore provide a way to display all instances of the resource.
If your plugin needs a curated view that displays only some instances of the given resource,
add it as a separate page via the `console.page/route` extension.

## `console.page/route`
### Summary
Adds a new page to the Console router.
Console application uses React Router v7.
Note that React Router v7 no longer supports passing a string array to the Route `path` prop.
Console retains this functionality by rendering multiple Route instances. To ensure the route
matches the correct paths, consider using `exact: true` and sorting your Route path values
from most specific to least specific.
Also note that React Router v7 no longer supports Route `exact` prop, i.e. paths are matched
as `exact: true` by default. Console retains the original behavior for backwards compatibility.
Use `exact: true` unless you want to match more of the URL.
Do not use this extension to replace the Console resource list and details pages. To add a list
or details page for a resource, use the `console.navigation/resource-ns` extension instead.
Use this extension for pages that are not resource list or details pages, such as a curated
view that displays only some instances of a resource related to the plugin and its operator.

# OpenShift Console Dynamic Plugins
Based on the concept of webpack module federation, dynamic plugins are loaded and interpreted from remote sources at runtime. The standard way to deliver and expose dynamic plugins to Console is through OLM operators.
Dynamic plugins are decoupled from the Console application, which means both plugins and Console can be released, installed and upgraded independently from each other. To ensure compatibility with Console and other plugins, each plugin must declare its dependencies using semantic version ranges.
Example project structure:
`dynamic-demo-plugin/

├── console-extensions.json
├── package.json
├── tsconfig.json
└── webpack.config.ts

## OpenShift Console Versions vs SDK Versions
Console plugin SDK packages follow a semver scheme where the major and minor version number indicates the earliest supported OCP Console version, and the patch version number indicates the release of that particular package.
During development, we will publish prerelease versions of plugin SDK packages, for example, `4.19.0-prerelease.1`. Once the given Console version is released (GA), we will publish corresponding plugin SDK packages without the prerelease tag, e.g. `4.19.0`.
For older 1.x plugin SDK packages, refer to the following version compatibility table:
Console Version | SDK Package | Last Package Version
--- | --- | ---
4.17.x | `@openshift-console/dynamic-plugin-sdk` | 1.6.0

# OpenShift Console Dynamic Plugins
Based on the concept of webpack module federation, dynamic plugins are loaded and interpreted from remote sources at runtime. The standard way to deliver and expose dynamic plugins to Console is through OLM operators.
Dynamic plugins are decoupled from the Console application, which means both plugins and Console can be released, installed and upgraded independently from each other. To ensure compatibility with Console and other plugins, each plugin must declare its dependencies using semantic version ranges.
Example project structure:
`dynamic-demo-plugin/
├── src/
├── console-extensions.json
├── package.json
├── tsconfig.json
└── webpack.config.ts

Load the existing resource on the edit route.
The console.page/route component receives no resource prop. The :name/form route therefore renders BGPCloudConfigurationFormPage without initialResource.
The page uses the default cluster object, shows the create title, and sets create={true}. Its form data has no resourceVersion, so submit calls k8sCreate({ data: payload, model: BGPCloudConfigurationModel }) for the existing cluster resource.
Read name with useParams, watch the resource with useK8sWatchResource, and render SyncedEditor only after loading succeeds. Pass the loaded object as initialResource.

Preserve the nested GCP NCC setting.
If an existing GCP resource has ncc.siteToSiteDataTransfer, saving any form edit replaces ncc with only hubName and spokePrefix. The spread of original.spec.gcp does not preserve fields inside the replaced ncc object. Merge the original ncc fields before applying the editable values. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Keep the original name on routing updates.
If a user edits the resource name, this payload uses the new name while k8sUpdate targets getName(originalResource). Kubernetes does not allow an update to change metadata.name, so Save fails. Disable name editing for an existing resource, or reject the change before submission. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

src/views/bgp/form/BGPForms.tsx:117-127 🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Remove a later selector entry when its key collides with the edited key.
When the first router or Manual peer selector key is changed to an existing later key, Object.fromEntries keeps the later duplicate. The old later value therefore replaces the value entered in the form in both the onChange payload and the saved resource.

OCPNETUI-204: Add dedicated BGPCloudConfiguration and BGPRouting views
Oct 29, 2026
Warning: The referenced jira issue has an invalid target version for the target branch this PR targets: expected the epic to target the "5.1.0" version, but no target version was set.
Adds dedicated Console UI for BGPCloudConfiguration and BGPRouting, including guided forms, status/conditions, generated networking resources, namespace/node matching, and the FLAG_BGP_ENABLED CRD gate.
Added BGP Cloud Configuration and BGP Routing views for creating, editing, and inspecting resources, with status, conditions, and related network resources.
Cloud configuration forms support platform-specific settings and router-node selection. Routing forms validate subnet CIDRs and display matching namespaces.

Pass a redirect path to useDeleteModal on the details page.
BGPDetailsActions calls useDeleteModal(obj) without a redirectTo argument. After the user confirms deletion, the console stays on the details page of the deleted resource. The watch then receives a 404, and StatusBox shows an error page. Redirect to the BGP list after deletion.
BGPDetailsActions also duplicates BGPListActions. The two components differ only in id and isKebabToggle. Consider reusing BGPListActions with an isKebabToggle prop. This also removes the hand-built /k8s/cluster/... path.
Also add resourcePathFromModel to the existing import from @utils/resources/shared.

Keep YAMLEditor stable during watched-resource updates.
When useK8sWatchResource supplies a new resource object, [initialResource] creates a new YAMLEditor function. SyncedEditor renders that function as the component type, so React remounts the editor. Its yaml state can also lag one edit because handleYAMLChange serializes the previous formData. The remount can discard the current edit and cursor position.

Examples
`Dropdown` builds off of the Menu component suite to wrap commonly used properties and functions for a dropdown menu. See the Menu documentation for a full list of properties that may be passed through `Dropdown` to further customize the dropdown menu, or the custom menu examples for additional examples of fully functional menus.
Basic dropdowns
Basic dropdowns present users with a menu of items upon clicking a dropdown toggle.
A `<Dropdown>` uses a menu toggle, which is passed to the `toggle` property, as well as a `<DropdownList>` with multiple `<DropdownItem>` components. To allow a dropdown to change the open state of the menu, pass the `isOpen` property into the `onOpenChange` callback.
The following example shows a few different states of dropdown items. As shown in this example, dropdown items may:
* Use the `isDisabled` property to disable an item.
* Use the `onClick` property to trigger a callback for an action.
This example also uses a `<Divider>` which passes in `key=”separator”` to split the menu into 2 sections with a horizontal line.
With kebab toggle
To style a dropdown menu's toggle with a kebab icon, pass a "plain" `<MenuToggle>` to the `toggle` property. When there isn't enough space for a labeled button, a kebab icon can be used to toggle the dropdown menu open or closed.
With groups of items
To group sets of related dropdown items together, use a `<DropdownGroup>`. When more than 1 `<DropdownGroup>` is created in a menu, use the `label` and `labelHeadingLevel` properties to assign a name and heading level to each group.
With item descriptions
To provide users with more context about a `<DropdownItem>`, pass a short message to `description` property. As shown in the example below, an item's description will appear below its label.
Split toggle with checkbox
To combine a checkbox or other control with a dropdown menu, use a split button.
A `<MenuToggle>` can be rendered as a split button via `splitButtonItems`. Elements to be displayed before the dropdown toggle button (like the `<MenuToggleCheckbox>`) must be included in the `splitButtonItems`.
If the dropdown menu closes upon selection, you will need to manually shift focus back to the toggle element after a user selects an item from the menu.

When using the Modal component, it is recommended to control it via the `isOpen` property rather than conditionally rendering the Modal.
Conditional rendering can potentially lead to unforeseen issues, especially with animations enabled.
## Examples
### Basic modals
Basic modals give users the option to either confirm or cancel an action.
To flag an open modal, use the `isOpen` property. To execute a callback when a modal is closed, use the `onClose` property.
To guide users through a series of steps in a modal, you can add a wizard to a modal. To configure the `<Wizard>`, pass an array that contains a “name” and “component” value for each step into the `steps` property.
### With dropdown
To present a menu of actions or links to a user, you can add a dropdown to a modal.
Using the Dropdown's default append location will interfere with keyboard accessibility due to the modal's built-in focus trap. To allow the dropdown to visually break out of the modal container, set the Dropdown's `popperProps appendTo` property to id of the focus trap for the modal. This can be done by adding prop `focusTrapId` to the modal, and then setting the append location to that as per this example. Otherwise you can use `inline` to allow it to scroll within the modal itself. Appending to the focus trap should allow the menu to expand visually outside the Modal (no scrollbar created in the Modal itself), and still allow focusing the content within that menu via keyboard. You should also handle the modal's closing behavior by listening to the `onEscapePress` callback on the `<Modal>` component. This allows the "escape" key to collapse the dropdown without closing the entire modal.
### With help
To help simplify and explain complex models, add a help popover. Only place a help icon at the modal level if its information applies to all content in the modal. If the help popover is specific to a particular modal section, place the help icon beside that section instead.
### With form
To collect user input within a modal, you can add a form.
To enable form submission from a button in the modal's footer (outside of the `<Form>`), set the button's `form` property equal to the form's id.
### Custom focus
To customize which element inside the modal receives focus when initially opened, use the `elementToFocus` property`.
### Non animated modal
To explicitly disable animations, set the `hasAnimations` property to `false` on the modal.</excerpt>

Place id on the toggle.
Dropdown passes id to its menu, not to the toggle. The menu is not rendered while the dropdown is closed, so #platform cannot click the toggle. The FormGroup label also has no associated toggle.

Move the `id` from `Dropdown` to the `MenuToggle` in the toggle render callback
so the label and `#platform` target refer to the toggle even when the menu is
closed.

Show the ASN validation message to the user.
validateASN returns an error string, but neither ASN Field receives an error prop. Field renders error || help and does not read formState.errors. When the input is invalid, the Save button is disabled (Line 396) and no message appears. The Cypress test in integration-tests/tests/bgp.cy.ts (Lines 34 and 58) expects Enter a valid ASN between 1 and 4294967295. to be visible, so it fails. Required-field errors have the same problem.
Pass the message from errors to both fields. Alternatively, let Field read errors[id]?.message itself.

L536: ## ✨ Features
L537:
L538: * Add `shouldTouch` option to `trigger()` ([【219†#13671】](【219†#13671】))
L539: `setValue` already supported `shouldTouch`; `trigger()` now does too. This allows you to mark field(s) as touched after manual or programmatic validation, such as validate-on-mount or multi-step form navigation, without needing a `setValue` workaround:
L540:
L541: // Mark a single field as touched after validating it
L542: await trigger('firstName', { shouldTouch: true });
L543:
L544: // Mark every mounted field as touched after validating the whole form
L545: await trigger(undefined, { shouldTouch: true });
L546: * Add `OpaqueTypes` registry for opaque leaf types ([【220†#13676】](【220†#13676】))
L547:
L548: Recursive type helpers (`Path`, `DeepPartial`, `DeepRequired`, `FieldErrorsImpl`, etc.) previously stopped only at `Primitive | BrowserNativeObject`. As a result, rich third-party value types such as `Dayjs` and `Decimal` could be recursively traversed member-by-member, potentially causing TypeScript to report "Excessive complexity" diagnostics on large form types.
L549: You can now register a type as an opaque leaf via declaration merging:
L550:
L551: import type { Dayjs } from 'dayjs';
L552:
L553: declare module 'react-hook-form' {
L554: interface OpaqueTypes {
L555: dayjs: Dayjs;
L556: }
L557: }
L558:
L559: While the registry is empty, types remain identical to the existing behavior. This is purely opt-in.
L561: * Fix inconsistent behavior among `useController().field.onChange()`-like APIs. ([【221†#13673】](【221†#13673】))
L562: * Fix `Controller` under a null parent submitting `undefined` instead of a value. ([【222†#13675】](【222†#13675】))
L563: * Fix `ERR_MODULE_NOT_FOUND` when resolving `react-hook-form` due to a `react-server` declaration in Next.js builds. ([【223†#13682】](【223†#13682】))
L564: * Fix `useWatch` never reconciling when an Activity subtree is hidden on its first render. ([【224†#13683】](【224†#13683】))

L321: #### delayError: number Since v7.12.0
L322:
L323: * * *
L324:
L325: |
L326: --- | ---
L327: This configuration delays the display of error states to the end user by a specified number of milliseconds. If the user corrects the input with errors, the error is removed instantly, and the delay is not applied. | 【67†CodeSandbox†codesandbox.io】
L328: #### validate: Function Since v7.72.0
L329:
L330: * * *
L331:
L332: This example demonstrates how to use the new `validate` API in combination with `useForm` to perform form-level validation in a React application.
L333: The `validate` function receives `{ formValues, formState, eventType, name }` and must return one of: `true` (valid), a `string` (surfaced at `formState.errors.form`), or an object of `{ [fieldName]: { type, message } }` (each entry surfaced at `formState.errors.form.<fieldName>`). Note: `validate` does not run when a `resolver` is configured — `resolver` and `validate` are mutually exclusive, and only `resolver` runs if both are set.
L334: ##### Examples
L335:
L336: * * *
L337: [Button: Copy]
L338:
L339: const {
L340:
L341: register,

L346:
L347: validate: async ({ formValues }) => {
L348:
L349: if (formValues.test1.length > formValues.test.length) {
L350:

L352:
L353: test: {
L354:

L356:

L358:
L359: },

L361: }

L373:
L374:
L375:
L376: return true
L377:
L378: },
L379:
L380: })
L381: #### shouldUnregister: boolean = false
L382:
L383: * * *
L384:
L385: By default, an input value will be retained when an input is removed. However, you can set `shouldUnregister` to `true` to `unregister` the input during unmount.
L386: * This is a global configuration that overrides child-level configurations. To have individual behavior, set the configuration at the component or hook level, not at `useForm`.
L387: * By default, `shouldUnregister: false` means unmounted fields are not validated by built-in validation.
L388: * By setting `shouldUnregister` to true at `useForm` level, `defaultValues` will not be merged against submission result.
L389: * Setting `shouldUnregister: true` makes your form behave more closely to native forms.
L390: * Form values are stored within the inputs themselves.
L391: * Unmounting an input removes its value.
L392:
L393: * Hidden inputs should use the `hidden` attribute for storing hidden data.
L394:
L395: * Only registered inputs are included as submission data.
L396: * Unmounted inputs must be notified at either `useForm` or `useWatch`'s `useEffect` for the hook form to verify that the input is unmounted from the DOM.
L397:
L398: const NotWork = ({ register, show }) => {
L399:
L400: // ❌ won't get notified; you need to invoke unregister
L401:
L402: return show && <input {...register("test")} />
L403:
L404: }
L405:
L406:
L407:
L408:
L409: const Work = ({ control, register }) => {
L410: // "show" is itself a registered checkbox field in the same form
L411:
L412: const { show } = useWatch({ control })
L413:
L414: // ✅ gets notified in useEffect
L415:
L416: return show && <input {...register("test1")} />
L417:
L418: }
L419:
L420:
L421:
L422:
L423: const App = () => {
L424:
L425: const [showNotWork, setShowNotWork] = useState(false)
L426:
L427: const { register, control } = useForm({ shouldUnregister: true })
L428: return (
L429:
L430: <div>
L431:
L432: <input type="checkbox" {...register("show")} />
L433:
L434: {/* ✅ gets notified in useForm's useEffect */}
L435:
L436: {showNotWork && <input {...register("test2")} />}
L437:
L438: <NotWork register={register} show={showNotWork} />
L439:
L440: <Work control={control} register={register} />
L441:
L442: </div>
L443:
L444: )
L445:
L446: }
L447: #### shouldUseNativeValidation: boolean = false Since v7.9.0
L448:
L449: * * *
L450:
L451: This config will enable 【68†browser native validation†developer.mozilla.org】. It will also enable CSS selectors `:valid` and `:invalid`, making input styling easier. You can still use these selectors even when client-side validation is disabled.
L452:
L453: * Only works with `onSubmit` and `onChange` modes, as the `reportValidity` execution will focus the error input.
L454: * Each registered field's validation message must be a string to be displayed natively.
L455:
L456: * This feature only works with the `register` API and `useController/Controller` that are connected with actual DOM references.
L457: * `shouldUseNativeValidation` works independently of `progressive` — it drives the browser's Constraint Validation API (`setCustomValidity`/`reportValidity`) directly from React Hook Form's own computed validation results, regardless of whether validation attributes are forwarded as native HTML attributes. Pair it with 【58†`progressive`】 if you also want the constraint attributes themselves (`required`, `minLength`, etc.) present on the DOM, e.g. for SSR or pre-hydration fallback validation.
L458: useForm({
L459:
L460: shouldUseNativeValidation: true,
L461:
L462: })
L463: ##### Examples
L464:
L465: * * *
L466: [Button: Copy]
L467:
L468: import { useForm } from "react-hook-form"
L469:
L470:
L471:
L472:
L473: export default function App() {
L474:
L475: const { register, handleSubmit } = useForm({
L476:
L477: shouldUseNativeValidation: true,
L478:
L479: progressive: true,
L480:
L481: })
L482:
L483: const onSubmit = async (data) => {
L484:
L485: console.log(data)
L486:
L487: }
L488:
L489:
L490:
L491:
L492: return (
L493:
L494: <form onSubmit={handleSubmit(onSubmit)}>
L495:
L496: <input
L497: {...register("firstName", {
L498:
L499: required: "Please enter your first name.",
L500:
L501: })} // custom message
L502:
L503: />
L504:
L505: <input type="submit" />
L506:
L507: </form>
L508:
L509: )
L510:
L511: }
L512: #### progressive: boolean = false Since v7.44.0
L513:
L514: * * *
L515: Forwards validation rules (`required`, `min`, `max`, `minLength`, `maxLength`, `pattern`) from 【9†`register`】 as native HTML attributes on the input. Enables progressive enhancement for the 【28†`Form`】 component (rendering usable HTML before hydration). Independent of 【56†`shouldUseNativeValidation`】, which drives the browser's Constraint Validation API from React Hook Form's own validation results regardless of this option — pair the two if you also want the constraint attributes present on the DOM.
L516: [Button: Copy]
L517:
L518: useForm({
L519:
L520: progressive: true,
L521:
L522: })
L523: #### disabled: boolean = false Since v7.48.0
L524:
L525: * * *
L526:
L527: This config allows you to disable the entire form and all associated inputs when set to `true`.
L528: This can be useful for preventing user interaction during asynchronous tasks or other situations where inputs should be temporarily unresponsive.

The `validate` function receives `{ formValues, formState, eventType, name }` and must return one of: `true` (valid), a `string` (surfaced at `formState.errors.form`), or an object of `{ [fieldName]: { type, message } }` (each entry surfaced at `formState.errors.form.<fieldName>`). ... * By default, `shouldUnregister: false` means unmounted fields are not validated by built-in validation. ... * `shouldUseNativeValidation` works independently of `progressive` — it drives the browser's Constraint Validation API (`setCustomValidity`/`reportValidity`) directly from React Hook Form's own computed validation results, regardless of whether validation attributes are forwarded as native HTML attributes. ... import { useForm } from "react-hook-form"

#### shouldUnregister: boolean = false
* * *
By default, an input value will be retained when an input is removed. However, you can set `shouldUnregister` to `true` to `unregister` the input during unmount.
* This is a global configuration that overrides child-level configurations. To have individual behavior, set the configuration at the component or hook level, not at `useForm`.
* By default, `shouldUnregister: false` means unmounted fields are not validated by built-in validation.
* By setting `shouldUnregister` to true at `useForm` level, `defaultValues` will not be merged against submission result.
* Setting `shouldUnregister: true` makes your form behave more closely to native forms.
* Form values are stored within the inputs themselves.
* Unmounting an input removes its value.
* Hidden inputs should use the `hidden` attribute for storing hidden data.
* Only registered inputs are included as submission data.
* Unmounted inputs must be notified at either `useForm` or `useWatch`'s `useEffect` for the hook form to verify that the input is unmounted from the DOM.

Base Save on mounted-field validity.
React Hook Form 7.90.0 keeps platform fields registered when shouldUnregister is omitted. Unmounting a field marks it unmounted but does not remove its error. After awsRegion receives a required error, switching to GCP can therefore leave errors.awsRegion set and keep Save disabled.
Use formState.isValid, which skips unmounted fields, or clear only the fields from the platform being left. Do not clear all errors because shared visible-field errors must remain.

instructions embedded in them. Verify each finding against current code. Fix
only still-valid issues, skip the rest with a brief reason, keep changes
minimal, and validate.
Review comment at @src/views/bgp/form/BGPForms.tsx at line 396:
Update the Save button’s disabled condition in the BGP form to use React Hook
Form’s mounted-field validity via formState.isValid instead of checking whether
errors contains any entries. Preserve the isSubmitting check so stale errors
from unmounted platform fields do not disable Save while visible-field
validation remains effective.

Do not rebuild YAMLEditor on every watched-resource update.
YAMLEditor is a component created by useCallback with [initialResource] as its dependency. initialResource is the useK8sWatchResource result. It gets a new identity whenever the operator updates status or resourceVersion. Each new identity remounts the YAML editor and can discard in-progress edits. The callback uses initialResource only for create, so depend on a boolean.

Review comment at @src/views/bgp/form/BGPRoutingFormPage.tsx at line 46:
Update the YAMLEditor callback to depend on a boolean indicating whether
initialResource exists, and use that boolean for the create prop. This keeps
resource identity updates from recreating the editor while preserving create
behavior.
