Apparently the testcontainers upgrade is causing flakiness in macOS CI. I haven't experienced this at all locally, so this seems to be an issue specific to the macOS github runner and possibly the "Setup Docker" action.

    I am inclined to chalk this up to "Docker is the bane of my existence" and skip macOS tests in CI until #915 is completed. We could run only the unit tests in macOS CI and skip the integration test, validating that the generate_macos.sh command works.
