Lead with results, one architecture diagram, a make-target quickstart, and links out to BENCHMARKS.md / docs/writeup.md for depth. - Fix bench-kernels: it pointed at a nonexistent cortex.benchmarks.kernels module; now runs the actual cortex.kernels.bench_* modules.
