Summary

• Make shipped agentic-fm scripts Windows-clipboard-safe by using ASCII <> instead of Unicode ≠ (avoids mojibake that FileMaker wraps in /* ... */ and silently disables).
• Improve Get agentic-fm path to clear a bad stored path and re-prompt for the folder instead of only showing an error.
• Make Explode XML fall back to manual /C:/... → /c/... conversion when ConvertFromFileMakerPath(...; 1) returns ? on Windows.
• Harden the companion for native Windows: Git-Bash-friendly path translation, Desktop auto-detect without requiring WSL, broader repo_path_override handling, and UTF-8 subprocess I/O for fmparse/fmcontext.
• Update docs / automation.json.example for Windows overrides; add native Windows clipboard support to clipboard.py.

Test plan

• On Windows: python3 agent/scripts/clipboard.py write filemaker/agentic-fm.xml and paste the agentic-fm folder into a solution; confirm If calculations use <> and are not commented out
• Run Get agentic-fm path, select the repo root; confirm AGENTIC.FM is valid JSON with a trailing slash path
• Deliberately set a bad AGENTIC.FM path, re-run Get agentic-fm path, confirm it re-prompts
• With companion running and automation.json overrides set, run Explode XML on Windows and confirm Finished (no export_file_path is '?')
• On macOS: smoke-test clipboard write/paste and Explode XML still work
