`kardex create` could not run on a fresh install: the console script imports `navconfig.cli`, which imports the `navconfig` package, whose `__init__` instantiated `Kardex` at import time. That failed with FileExistsError when `env/` was missing -- precisely the situation the command exists to fix. `navconfig/__init__.py` now resolves `config`, `SITE_ROOT`, `BASE_DIR`, `DEBUG` and friends on first access (PEP 562) through a new public `navconfig.bootstrap()`. Importing the package no longer requires a scaffolded project. The CLI is reorganised in command groups, with no backward compatibility: kardex env create [--split] replaces kardex create kardex env new <name> replaces kardex new-env kardex vault create write the Vault directives into the .env kardex vault migrate push an environment's variables into Vault kardex vault save VAR:VALUE store variables in Vault kardex log enable [--logstash] enable the [logging] section of config.ini Along the way: * The Vault block now carries the directives the loader actually reads (VAULT_URL, VAULT_MOUNT_POINT, VAULT_VERSION). The previous `new-env --vault` emitted VAULT_ADDR, VAULT_ROLE_ID, VAULT_SECRET_ID, VAULT_SECRET_PATH and VAULT_NAMESPACE, none of which are consulted. * The block is delimited by markers so `vault create --force` rewrites it in place instead of duplicating directives. * `vault migrate` leaves the Vault and bootstrap directives in the .env file, masks values in its output and confirms before writing. * `log enable` edits config.ini line by line so its comments survive. * Samples for the split .env layout and the Vault block are bundled. Docs: README rewritten around the new commands, and a static GitHub Pages site added under site/ with a workflow to deploy it. Version bumped to 3.0.0.

The manylinux2014 image now ships CPython 3.14t, and the pre-build `uv sync` resolved the full runtime dependency tree against whichever interpreter uv discovered there. orjson publishes no free-threaded wheels at any version, so uv fell back to its Rust sdist and the build aborted with "orjson does not support free-threaded Python". Drop the pre-build-command: the wheels only need setuptools/Cython/wheel (already in build-requirements) to cythonize the .pyx sources, and the venv that sync created was never used by the wheel build. Pin the interpreter in the sdist job for the same reason. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

The "asyncio" package on PyPI is the pre-3.4 backport; since 4.0.0 it ships no code and exists only to warn against installing it. The stdlib module is what navconfig actually imports, so the dependency contributed nothing and tripped dependency audit tools. Remove it from pyproject and tox, re-lock, and stop listing uv.lock in .gitignore (the file was already tracked, so the rule was inert). Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
A root pytest.ini takes precedence over [tool.pytest.ini_options], so the testpaths and warnings-as-errors settings in pyproject were never applied: bare `pytest` walked examples/ and failed during collection. Move the two live settings (DeprecationWarning ignore, session-scoped asyncio fixture loop) into pyproject and delete pytest.ini. Collection is now limited to tests/ and other warning categories are errors. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
