Can't build php-8.6.0alpha3: php_io.c:180:1: fatal error: opening dependency file main/io/php_io.dep: No such file or directory

Description

Build with gcc 16.1.0 , binutils 2.35.2
Resulted in this output:

php_io.c:180:1: fatal error: opening dependency file main/io/php_io.dep: No such file or directory

But I expected build success.

Php 8.6.0alpha3

Operating System

Ubuntu 16.04

Just to clarify - I was building cgi sapi. Error repeatable through tries. Logs accidentally removed, i provide them soon enough

Seems like file uncommited

Tried limiting make jobs - no luck

But there cli+modules building fine, it's only failing for cgi.

Hi @sergey-dryabzhinsky would it be possible to try the following ?

in configure.ac, in the following part:

PHP_ADD_BUILD_DIR([
    main
    main/poll
    ...
])

updating as follow

PHP_ADD_BUILD_DIR([
    main
    main/io
    main/poll
    ...
])

but then you would need to start from a clean slate, make distclean, ./buildconf ...
