…is true, and the reference facts match the code AGENTS.md said Props.Config is Viper-based; it is the go/config Store, and the Props list gains Collector, IO, Features and Flags, which it omitted. pkg/chat/README.md described the adapter before the extraction (Viper, the old local http and credentials packages, three blank imports, a re-exported API); it now describes what the package holds and says it registers no provider. Tool.ReleaseSource's field comment said "GitHub or GitLab" against six supported types. The generate reference said --provider takes openai/gemini/claude; it takes any linked provider. The generate reference's adapter table is now read against chat.ProviderModules and forge.ModuleFor by a repopolicy test, so a provider or forge added to the code without its row, or a row naming the wrong module, fails there. Red when codeberg is removed from the row. The docs command's missing-assets hint blamed go install; the recommended release binary shipped without assets in v0.41.1 to v0.42.0, so it sent the user to file a misleading report. It now names what is missing (assets/docs), says a release build embeds it and a source build or a release built without the docs step does not, then gives the tool's install hint. The init ai key input said the provider's well-known variable takes precedence over the config file; it is the last rung of the credential chain, and the note now says a key entered wins once written.
