CI runs the test runners with -all, which skips tests registered with CppUnit_addLongTest, and no job passes -long. The 13 long tests in Foundation therefore never run in CI, and neither would the MD5Engine and MD4Engine tests for inputs over 4 GB in #5601.

  • CI: POCO_LONG_TEST_SUITES lists the Foundation suites that hold long tests: RWLockTest, PBKDF2EngineTest, FileStreamRWLockTest, FileChannelTest, MD5EngineTest and MD4EngineTest. The jobs linux-gcc-cmake-long-tests, macos-clang-cmake-long-tests and windows-2025-msvc-cmake-long-tests build Foundation-testrunner and run these suites with -long, gated like the other Foundation jobs. They pass no ignore list, so every failure fails the job.
  • cppignore.lnx: FileChannelTest::testPurgeAge, a long test, is no longer ignored.
  • ai-agents/testing.md: names the jobs and the list; a suite that gets a long test is added to the list.

Tests: the Linux job passed on the first commit: 35 tests, test step 7m45s, build 5 min. The macOS and Windows jobs run on this pull request.

Follow-ups: none.

ctest runs the test runners with -all, which skips tests registered with
CppUnit_addLongTest, so they never ran in CI. The job runs the Foundation
suites that hold them with -long.
The suite list moves to POCO_LONG_TEST_SUITES, which the Linux, macOS and
Windows long-test jobs share.
A failure of a long test fails the job.
The test is a long test, and the long-test jobs pass no ignore list.
