The README had grown back to 83 lines with the measurement table above the install command. 64 lines now: two sentences of what it is, run it, the one model command worth knowing, a taste of the modes, links. The load-bearing table moved whole to docs/design.md, linked from the first sentence, where it heads the how-it-works page instead of delaying the front one.
